My MQ check is a whoppin' 333 bucks this PP... ramen and beans again. Between NJA, ESL and pay cuts I think I'll call it quits here. I can do better at a minimum wage job and have less stress. Giving notice TOMORROW. Gotta say this tho, the best part about MQ is this board! LOL! I've had some good laughs and heard a lot of solid, truthful news and facts about our industry and other's plights working here for peanuts (half peanuts!) and am glad to know that it's not me, I'm not alone, I'm not lazy in my job, I am towing the line... There are just too many obstacles in our way to accomplish anything of worth anymore. To those who stay I will pray a prayer of strength for you that the winds of change blow in your direction for a change. My 2 week countdown begins! On to another chapter. I hope they don't think a 50 year old woman is a worthless hag out here in the working world! lol! Wish me luck too!~

I hope you file for unemployment for the NJA, because at least you will collect a little money while looking for a new job. Probably more than you just made in the past 2 weeks. I know I am making more on unemployment, but the rice and beans taste so much nicer not having to deal with the headace.

PS... NO ONE WILL THINK YOU ARE A WORTHLESS HAG! I bet they will appreciate you more than you have been in a long time!

Yowza, you sound like exactly how I felt in the months since MQ took over Spheris. Just to let you know, I too am a 50-year-old woman who has moved on, and completely left the MT field. Funny though, when I told my now employer "I really don't know what I want to be when I grow up." He got quite a chuckle out of it, and hired me full time. I had been on board part time for awhile....since last fall after the first pay cut. Best of luck to you in whatever you decide to do. Prayers for those I left behind!!!

will tell you one more time what they just did to me. In my former BOB was back up to about $18/hour, getting kudos for having 100% accuracy on many reports. Then switched to a new BOB. After working for about 24 hours on the account I was audited, failed at 98.1% and immediately put on 100% QA at which point I quit. I actually thought they were due this month, just pulled out my vouchers and saw they were due last month. I actually watched a video with an accountant and he said you don't have to pay quarterly taxes, they just set it up to help you out. I was wondering though if anyone has actually ever missed a payment and what the outcome was. So, decided to rip the band-aid off early and check on my paycheck in Ultipro. After deducting my pto pay and using actual hours, production pay, Now at just over $8/hr. I just started, but the date I got was today for payday, yet it is not in my bank. They told me I do not have to wait for direct deposit, that it is right off the bat (rather than waiting the usual two checks or so with any other place). I made minimum wage for the past 2 weeks. Tell me again why I work for this company? I can now look for a job doing any stupid thing, anywhere, and not have to take a pay cut. Isn't that terrific? I got an email from HR today that my husband was 'accidentally' added back on my insurance. Note that he has not been on my insurance for almost a year. How this happened I have no idea.
