if I upload a job 5 minutes after downtime and - it does not upload...

I take it I won't get credit for it? Is there anyway to recover it? It was a 2000 sec job so I'd hate to lose it. The Q should at least be smart enough to have a buffer drive to store all the last minute uploads to be uploaded later, right? And monkeys will fly out of my butt.

It should reserve for you when you get into - DQS again, but do not wait

for too long. Also if the report comes up again in DQS and is reserved for you, but it is a blank report, you can hit tools and I forgot if it is reload, but you should see something that should copy what you already did to the reserve report.

It most likely won't come back to you because of the - dnr

down time, I won't even start it. What will happen is that someone else will get your nice and complete or almost complete report, upload it, and THEY will get credit for it. I usually will get a report like this after the down time (I work until very late so work right after the maintenance) and I feel bad for the MT who did most of the report, but the only thing I can do is upload it. Sure enough, I see it in my stats. So, for future ref, I'd make sure you do not do a job that you suspect will take you into the down time. Break it and get a shorter one if you can. They SHOULD have a buffer but what do ya expect from MQ really.

Only warrants periodic scans. If anyone comes back at me for that, they can listen to 64 minutes of nothing themselves. If the doctor dictated, too bad he did not follow protocol = put the dictation on hold when not dictating or hang up the phone! ...

It appears to be only counting the active time to be the actual time the audio is playing and not all the time I spend in ADT and formatting. Looks like they may be manipulating the figure to ding people "for not actively working" for long periods of time. Hmmm, building another way to fire people? ...

I logged in at 10 a.m. EST and worked my entire shift. I got NJA a few times, so didn't do as many jobs as normal (straight typing only). Anyway, the work kept coming, so I kept typing. The DEP screen said they were working on moving the "stuck" jobs out, so I figured I would just plug along. I wrote down every job number I typed along the way. At the end of my shift, I had 17 jobs that were hanging in limbo. I had submitted a ticket to QCare but had received no respons ...

My work computer seems to be slow doing research, etc. lately. I recently had unfamiliar work given to me and keep quite a few tabs and manuals open, so thinking it could be a RAM issue but not sure. I have 2 jobs in limbo waiting to upload and 1 waiting to download. Also this morning, chunks of dictation are "missing" from ASR, so not only do we have to correct the crap that ASR has wrong, we also have to type in what it totally missed. For pennies!
