in these few posts below that as they go on and you ask more questions, the OP reveals more and more about themselves and they give inconsistent answers and you can tell they really don't work for MM?

I think some of these posts are made up. Changing the NJA policy for T-day? Letter of appreciation? Just trying to stir the pot and unfortunately too many people fall for it. Does anybody really believe a CCM sent an email telling us to check every 30 minutes tomorrow? That goes against company policy and they would get busted. Why does anybody believe this? The completionists? Sounds like a rock band. Happy T-day to all. Don't fall prey to this mania. Just somebody making fun for the Holidays, trying to liven up the board. Don't take it seriously.

Although I agree the TSM or CCM or whatever should not have used that term, we did have that at Spheris.

I am frequently asked by my CCM to sign on later in the day once work picks up, especially if I am scheduled in the morning and work has yet to come in. If NJA continued for me day in and day out, the CCM would change my schedule. I will be busy on my account for the holiday, the nature of the beast, we work where people are sick 365 days a year. and if i want to make money I need to work where and when there is work.

that I raised, to change the NJA policy from being OOW for 15 minutes to requiring us to check all day long every 30 minutes for work? You are expert at that, deflection? Then turning it back on me and insulting me, as if I don't want to work? A familiar refrain, we are lazy, whiners, unhappy, bitter, Debbie Downers. Is that where this is going to end up? Usually does when someone stands up to you.

is what I'm trying to say and what I think others here are saying. It's wrong, it's against policy, and you shouldn't have to do it.

I did not deflect by any means. Guess I just did not answer your question. My bad. Checking every 30 minutes is not required. The policy, out of work for 15 mins applies during your shift, the day is then yours to be spent any way u like!
(Now i'll go back and read that initial post and see why it deserved such a response)

I also received e-mail from my TSM about checking for work every 30 min - so it definitely wasn't made up. I found it strange also - but considering she's new at being a TSM and has had a lot of crap thrown at her over the last month or so - no job is perfect but I am glad I have one at MModal

For some reason I keep thinking they covered this on the tutorial...but I'm a shift and don't have time to figure it out. When I did the spell check at the end (which took an exceptionally long time), it appeared all my text turned BLUE (liike it does when you highlight) and then disappeared! Yesterday, my TSM sent out an e-mail notifying us that in January, the team leads will be transitioning to other positions as that job description is being done away with. All I can say is I sure hope they had more warning and that it was not a surprise. The TSM also asked for patience with her as she assumes their duties. that it now capitalizes the next letter after a period with one space. Is there a trick to make that not happen when I have to insert a word before the next word ("the" or whatever). Considering quitting Transcend w/o notice. I understand I will not be able to be rehired. In years past I quit MQ w/o working through my full 2 weeks too. (I know... BAD, BAD, BAD.)
