Forgot to mention!

I just love the post, a few posts down, about corporate email misspelling word "OMMUNICATION" on their email we were all sent.

I LOVE THE COMMENT ABOUT REPLY WITH CRITICAL ERROR CORRECTION AUDIT WITH A 97% AND THEN SAY DUE TO REPEATED INSULTS, YOU ARE NOW FIRED.

HAHAHAHA. I told my husband and he laughed so hard for so long.

THAT WAS PRICELESS! I WILL "ALWAYS" REMEMBER THIS TO THE DAY I DIE. MAKES ME SMILE EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT IT!

Merit increase only for salaried employees, right? - NE MT`

Correct me if I am wrong, but I know I have never received a merit increase. I remember an email last year this time that all salaried employees wouldn't get their 4% cost of living raise and I remember thinking RAISE, what does that mean? We will still get our 1/100 cent raise- they took just away whatever bonus we were earning and we get it per line now- not really truly a raise either. Payroll probably got sick of having to calculate the bonus.

MQ deciding AGAIN not to match 401K though is horrible. They should just come right out and say- We decided to spend your retirement match money on buying Spheris or upgrading our facilities in India.

Of course QA submission is down, all the swiss cheese is going to the doctors. Duh! - mrs.krabs

Think about it, when is the last time the company matched or even contributed to our 401K's??? Before CBay thats for sure. I am sure they don't think anyone in the US deserves this so-called benefit in their eyes.

All they do is TAKE not give. Take away the bonus; Pay cuts, and now taking away Kaiser. I said below, I love Kaiser, had 2 MRIs and a CT scan (easily over 10K) and paid 0. No deductible to reach. Not even a copayment. Okay, I did pay 100 to the ER, but that was for the ER visit, not the MRI and CT. Then I had to have a repeat MRI (I fell asleep!!) I'm really surprised they still give a shift diff for eve/night hours. That is certainly the next thing on the chopping block. I already asked to have weekends off after working weekends for 10 years.....since they took the shift diff....my answer? No.

Just received e-mail from corporate stating that as they had previously stated they would be rearranging management, ccm's, etc. It went on to state that if you had been reassigned to a new CCM they would be contacting you in the future, but Thank GOD at the bottom it lists who your CCM will be and I am lucky enough to have the same CCM who I love and has always been good to me. Today is my lucky day. So glad she is not one of the ones to go. ...

To all those who won a prize last week for MT week, congratulations. Now for corporate, if you can afford to hand out trips, flat screen TVs, and other prizes, why can't you give us a COL increase? I have never won a prize from MQ, even after 12+ years of dedicated work, working on short notice, getting high scores on audits, etc. I don't want the prize, I want to be paid for what I'm worth on a daily basis! A prime example of that is when I work every holiday for time and 1/2, but low and behold, there is mysteriously no work in the system. Because they press a button and send it all overseas for some poor sap to do for 5 cents a day, instead of paying me time and 1/2. There is no appreciation for the MT and our expertise anymore. Used to at least get an Xmas card, not even that anymore.... :( Save Yourself! ...

Any of the eTransPlus MTs hear that John Jordan and Mary Ann Baker were downsized by the Evil Empire...MedQuist today? They called them without a warning and downsized.
