Anybody else getting inundated with emails from the new TSA regarding a "reminder" about the pay period ending on Saturday? She sends them out almost daily!!! I'm trying to work and having to check my email and see that it is yet another email from her makes me want to pull out my hair!

It's driving me nuts. Some of her emails are just "cut and pastes" from the day before, and the constant reminders about schedules, time cards and pay period ending are getting to be too much.

address with them specifically. If there is a need to send out the same reminder day in and day out, it clearly is not reaching those it is intended for. I would think wearing the POD timekeeper crown entails more than sending out repetetive (and obviously ignored) emails. Cutting/pasting the prior day's emails really is only an attempt at appearing to look busy. The only thing missing lately are the dumb recipe and motivational emails. Ya just can't win here.

A position that just takes care of timecards, pto, etc? Cant give us a raise but can create positions like that? Wonder what it pays.

My POD scheduling person tells me every time she talks to me how overwhelmed she is. She has almost *400* employees and 2 separate PODs she's overseeing. It's all she can do to keep up with the scheduling needs of hundreds of people with hundreds of holiday PTO requests, people calling out, people who are scheduled to work but aren't, people who aren't scheduled to work but ARE, and everything in between. She told me today she's going out of her mind.

The "position" may last, but I doubt the people will.

people emailing her & to not bother her with such and such, and goes to great lengths to make us do every single part of her job for her, so if we're doing it all anyway, what do they need her for? Even her rude wording. She can't say something like "I'll be able to approve your PTO" but instead says "I will not GRANT you any PTO unless..." Instead of approaching it as though she has a job to do managing the schedules and working WITH us, it's as if she has decided she rules everyone now & has the power to make us miserable. We all know they create these positions only to eliminate them shortly thereafter. I think I'll actually be happy about it this time.

you now have to CALL them first. Why? Does she not check their email, which is pretty much the scheduler's only job? It's been good enough and worked fine all these years. I can't wait to call in sick at 2 a.m.

I've worked the other 9-5 for many years and always had that problem. My fired TSM gave us her cell and let us call her at home any time, even just to leave a message. Now we are only supposed to call the POD people M-F 8-5.

that they're doing you a favor, right? If I'm too sick to work, chances are I'm too sick to get out of bed, turn on my computer, put in my password, wait for my MM-issued computer to turn on, get into the email, remember my latest TSA's name (and pray to God that I remembered to add her to my address book) and send her an email saying I'm sick, can't come in.

Instead, I roll over, pick up my phone, dial the MModal number, enter the correct extension and leave a voicemail. When I'm feeling a little better, then I send a followup email. Easy Peasey.

I can't remember what it says officially in policy. I am sure it said at least 15 minutes prior to shift to call. Now that we have a scheduling manager, we have been told we have to call 1 hour before! (she makes up a lot of her own rules).

No matter about calling at 2 a.m., they don't answer the phone anyways. I work night shift, and they never answer the phone. LOL

I personally hate the daily motivational emails. I never, ever read them. I would be motivated if I worked for a company that truly cared about me. Umm, Immoral, not so much.

Email from the POD person overnight saying that it is required to check email at LEAST once a day (preferably before our shift) for updates. It came in a "basic employment requirements" email stating that "not checking emails could be detrimental".

So ... coming to a POD near you. You will be FORCED to read those daily inspirations whether you are inspired to, or not. LOL

The possibility of mandatory schedule changes due to overstaffing on Tuesday and Thursday. Need to move hours to Monday and Friday after 10 am. My schedule has been the same for years and the hours fit my life...so they can forget about it!!!! ðŸ˜Â¡Ã°Ÿ˜ˆ

Wish I could get a schedule change.. have been on PM's for almost 10 years..would like daytime..they say that there is none available....no one ever gets fired? and needs to be replaced? I don't believe that!

I must have gotten half a dozen emails this past week saying "I've requested a change be made to the CP, which will read...." And how we're supposed to follow that edit to the CP effective now. Ummmm...I have over 25 accounts now. It's a pain in the butt to read the CP for every report that comes through because I never get the same facility 2 reports in a row, and now you want me to check my email for this too? Nope! When it gets into the CP I'll see it and follow it. Until then, you just wasted your time and mine by emailing me.

And if I follow that email and QA (or whatever acronym they go by now) will ding me because it goes against the CP. And what am I supposed to say? Oh, you sent an email saying you requested a change to the CP, which still hasn't happened months later, so you should reverse the QA ding? Nope, not happening.

that we cannot send reports with more than 3 blanks through on TWO of the accounts I work on.  Right now, I have one of the worst dictators on one of those accounts.  She is ESL and she whispers.  To top it off, someone is standing very close to her running a VACUUM CLEANER. Slightly paranoid about being audited now since I'm reporting NJA instead of working 24/7.  It's amazing just how many reminder emails we get and how many minute details for each account.  I'm forwarding to my email to have just in case I'm ever managed out and need to defend myself along with the good and sometimes bad audits I've had.  I'm human.  Don't make huge amount of errors, but definitely not perfect...   ...

Just recently our QC sent out an email to an MT in our group for a HIPAA error and blind copied all the MT/MME in the BOB.  This poor MT would never have known unless others came forward and reported that they got this email in error. Make sure that if you get an email it is only coming to you.  I really hope she files a complaint with HR for shaming her in front of her peers.  Don't look, don't share apparently does not apply to anyone other than MT/MME. ...

LOL!  I mean really, does the fact that our accounts are in or out of TAT having any bearing on how I do my job.  The answer is "NO"  More useless information IMO.   The  today an email with everyone's PTO and no pay hours.. seriously??! we can all find this information on our timesheets.  But it is interesting to see that some have little or not PTO left like me and some have 60+ hours.  Oh but w ...

Does anyone else get XXX emails in their MQCentral email. I started getting it about 2 months ago and now everyday when I got in my email, I have at least 3 of emails to delete. I have accidentally deleted important emails because of this. I called support when it first happened as I saw it as a HIPPA infraction as I had assumed that MQCentral was a secure website. He told me that someone with my Medquist email address in their computer looks as these sites and that is how I've been getting ...
