MTRewards-skill level - radMT

Posted: Oct 01, 2013

What skiill level are you?  I've been with the company over 10+ years and looks like they still have me at level I.  How sad.  I would email by CCM but mail system is down.   Per report rad is over me Oct 13.  Hurry! Hurry!  At this rate i need to type/edit 2000 lines a day for a measily $100.  I dont know if 2000 lines is even feasible, I suck at sitting at my desk for extended periods of time.  haha.

skill level maximum rates apply to all production employees:

unable to link the page through the Pdf open. but found it under The M*Modal Medical Transcription Rewards Plan January 24, 2012. 20 pages. It is the pamphlet that Shaw told us to read...

THAT IS MAX PAY - Not across the board

[ In Reply To ..]
It says right on it maximum, and this went into effect a while ago... over a year anyway. I actually took a pay cut to drop me to the max of my tier.

Oct 13 the new MTrewards - update

[ In Reply To ..]
I wonder if Oct 13, the MTrewards plan will be updated to the new rules. Per this latest email a couple weeks ago...Probably so. Guess those rates wil be obsolete.

Probably on Ultipro or I based mine on the pay rate as of Oct 13.

This is my favorite section of the MM Intranet. - You Must See This

"M*Modal Total Rewards Philosophy: To provide an attractive, flexible, market-based total compensation program tied to performance and aligned with shareholder interest that enables us to attract, retain and motivate employees. M*Modal offers and strives to continually develop these various components to create a total rewards package that meets the needs of our workforce while being sustainable and competitive over time."

REALLY??!! I'd say you're falling just a bit short there, MM. This obviously doesn't pertain to MTs.

Me too. I've been a QA/ME for years and don't make that. - nm

with VR you should be at least 300 lines an hour - thats not too hard to do

All depends - smmt

on what kind of dictators you have. I have some I have to slow down to 0.6 and 0.4 to understand because they talk really fast, have accents, butcher the English language, speak too close to the microphone for a wonderfully muffled sound. Also, it is a verbatim account.

if you have one account its easy. if you bounce all over - the place, not so much!!

[ In Reply To ..]
When it takes longer to read the client profile than edit the report, 300 is not so easy. I seldom get the same account twice in a row.

Or if the sound quality is consistently awful ... - anon

so that ASR can never develop any accuracy.

300 lines...here i go! - radmt

[ In Reply To ..]
Okay, i'll give it a shot. Hope 300 will be easy enough. Wish now all my jobs would be ASR.

Let us switch for a day, or a week! - let us compare

[ In Reply To ..]
Do you have -
Accounts that require you to manually search or enter ADT info?
Accounts that require you to enter many carbon copies?
How many different accounts do you have in a day?
How format intensive are your accounts?
Does the ASR output have punctuation?
Is your ASR output greater than 90% accurate?
How many client templates do you get in a shift (standard + fill in the blanks).

My answers -
About 30-40% manual ADT.
About 25% carbon copy entries
At least 5 different accounts in a day, often more.
Some account work types have formatting demands that can take 4 minutes to format, especially with the lack of and incorrect formatting ASR does.
Usually, the medication list is not punctuated, and some accounts are totally devoid of punctuation.
Typical output accuracy is 40-60%
Less than 0.01% standards to insert.

It's not that I don't want to get a high line count and a better paycheck, I just have not found a way that works, but maybe you could try my accounts and teach me.

TIA

wow, u have a crappy acct - radmt

[ In Reply To ..]
no thank you, i do not want to switch with you! That is just horrible! I am sorry to hear. But u r probably right, my account may be lost to 3rd world. I wonder when radiology will be transferred. I just tried kicking ass for 'an hour' and lets see....256. and that was easy dictators. but i did get up a time or two. Thanks for making my acct seem GREAT. haha

Depending on many things... - JustMe

[ In Reply To ..]
How many accts are you on and how much clean-up do you have to do? If the ASR on your accts is that good that you think 300 lines an hour is "not too hard to do" I would be concerned that you probably won't be seeing those accts much longer. That seems to be the pattern anyway. I hope for your sake it's not.

That is what I make. I think it is reasonable - peg

[ In Reply To ..]
I even make more per line straight typing than that chart. VR is the exact same thing I make

Audio Transcription Center/Skill Bureau

Hello all, Has anyone had any dealings with Audio Transcription Center, which is apparently part of or associated with the Skill Bureau?  I got an email saying they wanted to talk tp me after I had already trained for a co. They want a typing test and then 4 audio files to be done for testing.  It's an IC position.  Could not get much information on the phone from the placement person.  Would be interested in any opinions/knowle ...

Re:paycuts Top Level
Nov 07, 2011

The last pay cut they made to me was with ASR.  they did not touch my transcription rate YET, but I know I read on here someone was at the top of their level as to how much they could make and they went from 0.009 to 0.003.  It sounds like this was the transcription rate?  Did they actually cut some of the MTs base pay to more than half?  This just blows me away if they did this.  I have not been on here too much on a steady basis because I get even more d ...

CLK Transcription - What An Insulting Pay Level
Sep 07, 2011

Really?  You're going to offer $21 an a/h when it takes 3 to 4 times the dictation length to complete a report?  That equates to LESS THAN THE FEDERAL MINIMUM WAGE - BEFORE TAXES!!  People PLEASE do not accept this!! Even if you are a newbie just starting out in transcription the absolute MINUMUM you should accept is $40 an a/h!  What CLK is offering to pay is equal to off-shore wages.  General transcription is not difficult at all - far easier than medical, but it ...
