Labs- dish level - my brain hurts

Can we use internet through Dish network. I currently have comcast and I absolutely hate this company. We got rid of our cable through Comcast and went with Dish. We kept the internet but the speed is ridiculously slow. Wondering if I can just go with Dish internet instead. If not, what type of internest connection do some of you use if not Comcast.
