Isn't there a holiday pay differential? - Anywhere on MQ Central? NM

MT/MME/CTL nothing for holidays; management paid holiday for Thanksgiving and the day after but we are appreciated! - not.

As I stated, the above was information I found on MQCentral under benefits. I found nothing that addressed differential. I emailed CTL this morning and she stated we are paid 1.5 times base rate for Thanksgiving.

I'm pretty sure that I will get holiday pay for the hour that I had work yesterday as well.

The problem is that MQ Central is about as user friendly as a pack of hungry hyena's guarding their kill! God forbid they could add a search function.

Don't feel alone, I seldom can find anything I'm looking for either.

You are unbelievable. Of course you get holiday differential. The negativity on this board is beyond belief. MQ is a good company to work for. That's all I have to say.

I don't remember any info being put out about it going to happen. Noticed the $ was not on my check, called and found out it was no more.

Years ago when MQ first starting cutting ASR pay I was really ticked and wanted to move on, then I noticed more and more companies were cutting their ASR also.

Now I am afraid other companies will see MQ getting by with no weekend differential, now no holiday pay. Next they will cut out shift differentials. Good luck getting those shifts filled then.

This is for full-time employees. They pay time and a half for working on the holiday. But you make out better by having the day off because when you work it's as if you only got 1/2 of what you normally get paid to work.

I was paid time and a half on Labor Day and July 4th. The holiday pay should show up on your paycheck under benefits.

I think I may have spoken too soon when I said they basically got rid of it. Math is definitely not my thing, but after studying it further, isn't it basically the same? It says, An additional $0.0075 per line or $0.09 per report for work transcribed between the hours of: (and then it gives the different hours for each time zone)............. Isn't that what it was before? And the .09 cents per report, is this for radiology reports? ??? ...

Kinda confused about the shift differential and how it works. I worked about 2.5 hours before the 6:00 a.m cutoff. I did 1008 lines today in that amount of time. Do I take the 1008 and multiply it by my shift differential amount and then subtract that 1008 from the total lines for the day, or is the shift differential "extra" in our pay? Just reminscing, lol. Five years ago I used to get a 1 cpl CMT differential and that was not uncommon or hard to find. Through a buyout by Transcend that differential was taken away and now with another buyout Nuance not only has no differential also, but wants to pay those of us with a CMT the same rate as a new hire with no credential. I love the ads that say "CMT or RMT preferred" but the hidden ending to that sentence is "but we don't want to pay you for it." W ...

Why do I find it hard to believe that they would actually give a shift diff for ANYTHING. They are in the business of reducing/cutting/taking AWAY not giving, especially if they really don't need to. Does anyone here actually get a CMT differential or know that there is one? Do you think it is actually worth it? I hate ADHI but I do like to EAT and with these pay cuts, that is getting harder to do! Please, no bashers of the CMT, I've heard it all. I KNOW ...

I didn't see a cost differential for difficult dictators in the new plan? Did anyone else? So you can work day shift with the lowest tier and have the crappiest dictator around but still get lowest pay. And isn't it lovely that the new rate will be on the Dec. 26 paycheck?
