just wonder if your'e still getting work on same accounts that you had with AT. I am not getting work anymore. I don't want to go thru all this training if I don't even know what type of account I am going to be on.

I wasn't @ AT, but I was bought by them. Within about 6-8 months I had taken 2 major pay cuts and then my accounts disappeared. Hugs and support to you if you think you can stick it out.

Yup, that's their pattern. Same thing happened to me when Spheris (maybe that's where you came from too) was bought out by Q - 2 big pay cuts, then POOF my account went away one morning without any warning whatsoever. Never stated they left Q, just that the "amount would be diminishing and then going away." INDIA, my guess.

geez donna, they bought alltype and said i would be a Q employee 9/30...no work since then...i have called and called...my password still works, so i guess i am not unemployed, but there is no work...this morning i signed in again...no work...but now they want me to take a 5 hour class and a 1 hour hippa class for no pay, immediately...probably for no work again...i am filing for unemployment and looking for another job and have a few on the line...go look girl...don't sit around waiting for a loser of a company

If evil had a face it would be the CEOs of Q. I don't even think it's legal for them to require you taking a class and offer no pay for it! This probably isn't much of a consolation, but my passsword(s) worked right up to the day I tore my system down and shipped it back (2 weeks for them to send me instructions/labels to do this.) Then I got a "termination" letter. Heck no, I QUIT to go to a job where I'm paid a liveable wage plus commission! A former co-worker and friend said my name is still on the Email roster... now over 2 months later! Guess I'll be getting fired any day now for not reporting to my shift! LOL I don't mean to make light of your situation, but like another poster said, file for UE, start looking now! You will be surprised what you are qualified to do. Or take a job as a stepping stone for now, something, anything to get you out of here, 'cuz it ain't gonna get better!

only edit, not allowed to do ASR on OUR accts. What happened to all the jobs that were given as a reason for the buy out? The ex-owner and ex-DOO need an email asking where all those jobs are. I hear another month before we can work as a REAL MQ MME. But we all knew our jobs would be siphoned off for the MQ people who had no work for so long.

accounts I've been on forever. Why can't I work on those accounts, Q just took them over. They don't know. So for .06 for ASR 65 line count not paid for spaces, no thanks. Will I ever get a raise, no. Not even after say 5 years, no. So for me, I'll look elsewhere.

Well after finding out that ALLtype was bought out by MedQ I had to make a choice - I resigned. I just cannot bring myself to work for an Indian owned company, nor do I want to fight for work with an underpaid and less qualified Indian MT. I hope more MTs will take this same option - the sooner we start refusing to work for overseas companies and taking lower pay - the sooner the job climate will change. Has anyone tested for Alltype? I got to test with editing and they sent me 4 tests to edit, but the catch was, these were not voice files. I just had to edit what I saw. I found it very difficult to edit without the voice. ...

They require that I purchase professional liability insurance. Does anyone work at Alltype as QA editor? and if so could I get you to message me? I have a few questions. This whole liability insurance thing just bothers me so much. I make so little now as QA that to then have to shell out more money, I am considering just retiring and be done with this profession. Since I got laid off from Webmedx in September I've been on unemployment. I tried to work for Alltype and couldn't do it. The pay was alright but the support was awful, they just threw me into the job with no training, hardly any information on my accounts, no contact whatsoever from supervisors. Just an update...I'm still jumping through hoops for this paycheck. Then I'll have a paycheck that should be mailed next week, also. I'm wondering how long I'll have to wait for that one or if I will ever see either of these checks.
