recent info on Transolutions? - rwm

Does anyone have any recent info on Transolutions? I'm not finding much on here. Are they a decent company to work for? Pay and benefits any good? Are they pretty flexible? Positive and negative comments welcome. Thanks!

Nice people, good company, but horribly slow and cumbersome platform and 95% or more VR on the very slow M-Modal/APex platform. Pay is a bit higher than at other companies for VR BUT accounts are difficult and, again, 95% VR on a cumbersome and slow platform make the slightly higher pay equal out to other companies paying 4 to 4.5 cpl for VR. Most people do not achieve the higher pay scale for VR AND keep a good QA score from the statistics I've seen, myself included.

It's really too bad as they are a good company. If they went with a better platform and ditched the M-Modal I would recommend them. Unfortunately, it doesn't make up for the slow platform and high VR (which I might add is set to 75% on the VR so alot of crap comes through in draft, which is SOOO irritating and frustrating!). The slighly higher CPL I have found also doesn't amount to anything when taken in context with the above.

Hi, I'm looking at Transolutions and haven't seen a lot of current info on the boards about them. Wondering about the quality of the SR and editing. I've already received the PDF on their compensation schedule and insurance benefits, so I have an idea what they pay. I have a job offer from Transolutions, but I have a couple of questions. I use Instant Text and I need to know if their platform is compatible with it. This would definitely be a dealbreaker for me. Medical Transcription just keeps going downhill. They expect more and pay less. I work for Accentus now and actually love my account and got my pay up to 5 cents for SR and 9 cents for transcription, but I have to work 10 hours a day just to make ends meet. They pay based on how many lines you type per hour so it can change every pay period. It's better than what I had at Transcend. The only thing is that my supervisor is a narcissist, very mean, tears you down ...
