I have an interview later in the week with Accentus; I was wondering if anyone has ever worked for them and if they still do; any info about this company would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I applied with them this morning. How long did it take to get a test/interview? Was the test horrible? Congrats on getting your interview. Hope you get it!

It only took a few days to receive an e-mail to test and then it only took a couple of days of hearing that I passed the test and asked if I wanted to set up an interview. The test was not hard at all. I have 14 years experience and I guess it would depend on how much experience one has. I am excited about the interview.

Accentus was bought out by Nuance last November. To get an idea of what Accentus will become, you can refer to the Nuance board but be forewarned that whatever benefits and line rate Accentus offers you now will change drastically when Nuance takes over.

They have had so many different names and actually purchased the company I had been employed with for 11 years. I quit the day they let us know it was changing hands and since then many of the others have left. You get work if India is too busy.

Accentus - struggling

They hired me for about a week. Did not give me a chance to learn the specifics. fired me. Do not explain that they are sending you samples of what the reports are supposed to look like. Now, working for a unreasonable expectation co. and not happy.

They were Zylomed before Accentus got hold of them - the ambulatory end was easy - but they had what is called "QT" lines (they appear in yellow when you pull up a doc's normal) and you only get 1 cpl for them - there were many reports that had them on the ambulatory surgery end so instead of whatever line rate you were to get, you got the 1 cpl - not for me when I can make my own glossary with the same normals and get the regular line rate - but they would not allow you to do that. No thanx. Someone said it doesn't work that way on the clinic end with their "exclusive" accounts - but I'm sure Nuance will find a way around that, too at some point.

I have the job if I want it. The law office was very nice, people nice, but I was overdressed! They all wear casual clothes and they're all young'uns. Good grief. I did not change the way I edit. It so depends on how many commas they think you should have.
