The OP didn't say, but it sounds like a TT comment. We've been working with an ax overhead for almost a year. Each month, each pay period change, each benefit change (good or bad), each system change (acct, antivirus garbage, email failure), each "anything" is just another confirmation that worse things are yet to come. There's real fear. Those of us who have seen a "merger"/takeover in the past know how this works. Some folks are kept, some folks are not, but nobody gets to the other side without a few scars (from a bad case of nerves if nothing else). We get more info here than we do from the folks we now work for. Some of the acct mgrs talk to their people, some don't, but we all want to know what's going on. The office folks who lost their jobs... I didn't know about it until hearing it here. For those who are sick of hearing about it, please be patient. This has dragged out a long time, but it's still real. The takeover I saw in the past lay quiet for 3 years, then one day SNAP... dozens of people in the office were let go (I was office staff then, so I saw it happen). I have no idea how many outside of the office were fired. Even the people who were kept went home in tears that day. The stress was incredible. I have good days & bad days, feel good about work, other days feel sick from it. We just don't know what the next move will be.

I know sometimes things are slow, but I'm not used to things being this slow for so long & getting slower as time goes on. Hopefully, things will pick up again soon.

I do 5 different hospitals. No work on any. - Sigh....

All these companies stink and this job rots...I put my resume in on Thurs w/ Keystrokes and they hired me on Friday at a higher line rate 9cpl...Got the shift I wanted but not the days off which really doesn't matter to me, just have to flex around some existing doc appts. This has always bugged me. It looks better with P.R.N. (all caps) at the beginning of a sentence, instead of P.r.n. (just first letter cap'd). Also, P.O. or P.o. at the beginning of a sentence. 1. No replies to Oncall for 6 -7 cpl. Look down a few ads and see the pathetic one put on by Lee Perfect. She cannot get anyone to type and says "sad but true." Does anybody know if there is a keyboard shortcut to get back to the beginning of the audio? With 6.whatever you just went back to the beginning of the text and then did control m to put the audio there and went to the beginning because of the skip markers, now with no skip marker, it only goes back to where the actual report starts, not the beginning of the ADT, if it will go back at all. I like 7 way better in all other aspects, but having to manually slide the audio back over with ...
