Precyse NJA - boredMT

Curious... anyone working for Precyse that has lost their account to international and now getting NJA several times a week?

I had a really good stable account. Then one day it seemed to be practically out and I was getting NJA. They were immediately sending emails for us to float our time, it would come back up, blah, blah, blah.

I asked for another account: No answer. Asked several more times. No answer.

After several days of NJA and no answer to my calls or emails for another account, I started working for another company. I NEVER quit Precyse ... just started working somewhere else -- I had to! I had bills to pay! I could only find part-time work but it was something at least. I filed UE and started drawing it, supplemented with part-time work.

So, about 2 weeks into my new employment, we are all notified that our account is no longer available in the US: The client wanted more cost-savings so they agreed to an offshore trial and it was acceptable so it wasn't coming back to us. I then get an email that I apparently resigned and they needed me to confirm that. I called HR up ANGRY and told them I had in NO WAY resigned but the company QUIT PROVIDING ME WORK. I told them I have copies of all my emails requesting more accounts, all their excuses for the NJA to our group, etc.

She said apparently I made a decision not to work for them anymore since I wasn't logging into work. I asked her how the heck am I supposed to log in for work when there IS NONE and that I had begged for more accounts but no one would answer me.

Silence. Not a response. Not a word uttered.

I told them what they could do with it and that I would be contacting my state's employment division to let them know I never QUIT. They were trying to stop me from collecting UE.

I took my copies of emails up there and the employment division manager agreed with me -- I did everything I was supposed to do and it was the company's fault. Soooo, guess who is paying my unemployment claim?!

Liars. They knew from the 1st day we had NJA that the account was gone. Liars and thieves to let us sit and wonder and do without work. THEN the gall to try to stop me from drawing UE and to say I resigned when they REFUSED to give me more work.

Liars, thieves, cheaters. That's exactly what Precyse and all of its management is.

level, and they cover for each other. If you have no proof of anything you allege, you're sunk in this company. Upper management could care less that we have no work or who does and who doesn't and why, but let somebody file for UE, then they suddenly care. Dept of Labor told me Precyse can do anything they want as far as NJA pay and they are within the guidelines - unless we make less than minimum wage i any given pay period, then Dept of Labor will step in. The only recourse we have is unemployment. I can't, my state requires proof of termination or separation of some kind for at least 6 weeks before they even talk to you. You didn't get answers because that's the MQ way and since they hired these MQ management rejects, it gets worse all the time. WFCs and TMs save work for certain people and certain shifts and think you're too stupid to figure it out for yourself and you will swallow any crap they throw your way. They have a lot of people buffaloed but eventually some folks wake up. Glad you saw the light and got out.

I felt angry again after reading your post! I am almost positive we must have been on the same account.... I sat with NJA for 2 months until I FINALLY got an email (that they swore they sent to us) after I whined and bugged them about my account that I was hired for and told I would be incredibly busy... Now, I barely get any lines and I don't know where to look or apply because I have been stung again and don't trust anyone... uggg Thanks for your post.

I tried to apply for an MT job with Precyse last night, but was given a message that they aren't "hiring in my area." Has anybody else run into this? I figure any area in the US is good since most of us work from home, am I wrong? I do live in Alaska, but last time I checked we were still part of the country. Just curious. Thanks. ...

For MT Week last week we got Sonic Rocks which are testicle-shaped shiny black magnets. HR just sent around a warning that they're very strong magnets and to not keep them anywhere near the computer or anything that stores info magnetically because people are accidentally erasing their hard drives with these stupid things. I work at Precyse and it seems things have been strange lately and I was wondering if any of my fellow slaves know what's happening there. I was just wondering what is happening at Precyse. I left Precyse last month after they sent my fourth account over to India, and there was no work. Management kept telling us to be patient and just use PTO, but we had not really had any work for months and had already used up most of the PTO.
