There was never enough work and the offer for another account did not line up with the hours that I agreed to work for them. It was a bad experience for me to constantly sign in and out waiting for something to type or VR. Not to mention when there is work, they call you on your day off and send emails regarding the urgency and then when you get on to type for the hours you are supposed to be on, there is no work. I never did figure this place out and their thinking on hiring so many people to do an account. I guess they get their money whether one person makes some or 20.

My experience same as the other poster. Always running out of work, then getting called for numerous reports out of TAT, usually late evenings. Offered another account as well, but other account is extremely difficult, lots of ESL, nit picky to a fault, very hard to get decent lines. My manager is very nice, but that does not pay the bills. Good luck to you!! I am leaving in 4 weeks....

I worked for Keystrokes for many years (approximately 7-1/2) and left about a year ago. This is a company that you want to avoid. It's really sad because they used to be an excellent company back in the 2000s, but that is no longer the case. During my last year there, I was constantly running out of work and my repeated requests for a secondary account were either ignored or refused, even though I always had outstanding quality and was a high producer when I had enough work. They even utilized me many times to help train new MTs on my account. What killed me was that one time when I asked for another account because I didn't have enough work, I was told that they didn't have any other accounts available for me, yet they had ads running looking to hire all these new MTs for "new and expanding accounts." Meanwhile, I was sitting there starving for work and so were many other people. To add salt to the already gaping wound, I had my pay cut more than once. I used to make great money there, but my paychecks greatly suffered when they suddenly decided to stop caring about their employees. I finally had to leave because I needed to make a lot more money than I was there and it was very obvious that they didn't care one bit about me anymore and had absolutely no plans to give me any other accounts anytime soon. I actually kind of got the feeling that they wanted me to leave. Why, I have no idea. I had a perfect track record with them and never did anything wrong. I was also always very loyal to them and stuck it out through many tough times there, yet they hung me out to dry anyway. You can do much better than Keystrokes. Nowadays, all they seem to care about is lining their own pockets. They seem to have forgotten who they once were.

Yes, there were pay cuts a few years ago and some problems, but none for quite a while. I have a good account and make good money. Not as good as 10 years ago, but better than with 3 other companies. My manager is fair and responds quickly. I could do without CSS calling for TAT, but I just ignore them. There's one in particular that is not too bright. I would recommend KS.

Most happy people don't post here for KS or other companies because the bashers come out in force. Everyone's experience is different, but mine has been good.

I've been with KS for just over 2 years and they have been very fair with me. The pay is horrible but other than that, they treat me like a human and I do feel respected.

what was going to come your way, if anything at all. I had many days that I signed into my shift to no work at all, clocked out for an hour and checked back, sometimes didn't wait the hour and still nothing. There were some meager pickings on the account I was on. I think the people that I worked with are all great. They all seemed very nice, but I'm sure they don't get paid by the line. I felt desperate not being able to make the money I needed just to pay my monthly bills. I saw the writing on the wall, so there was no reason to reason to wait around for foreclosure.

I constantly asked for a secondary and they never gave me one. I finally threw in the towel. They overhire so they don't have to pay benefits for over 40-hour workers. That's what I am thinking, anyway. The accounts are great and the platform was awesome, loved the environment, just no work. Can't make a living if there are no jobs available.

I am in that position right now. No work and nothing on the horizon. I have a third account but it is all editing, very difficult ESL and I cannot make anything at all with them. They tell me I am the only one on a certain account on Sunday evenings (a Rad account) but yet when I log on and see some work, enough for a couple of hours maybe it suddenly starts disappearing. there will be 2 or 3 people on there. I have questioned it, have been told I'm the only one scheduled on that account, but it continues to happen. If people are logging on when they are not supposed to, why don't they say something to them. I know they need the work, as I do, but it's not fair to me when I'm scheduled. I don't think it's fair of me to log onto an account that I am not scheduled to work and take work away from those who are scheduled on that account, and I don't like it being done to me. I guess others don't think that way.

Wondering if anyone has been let go because of sending over 8% of work to QA. They expect our line count to be at least 135 an hour (which for the most part is easily done), our accuracy to be 98+ and under 8% to QA. Sometimes this is not possible. I do everything I can to not send to QA (relisten, utilize google, books, relisten, adjust speed/sound, did I mention relisten, relisten, relisten).....but lets face it there are a boatload of dictators that are just impossible. ...
