Any new info on eMTS? - nothing recent in the archives

Platform is mentioned in the ad. What they pay, is what they pay, regardless of years of experience. They do offer insurance, however, I have insurance on my own so have elected not to take theirs. Right now the account I am on is straight typing. Hope this helps.

would be changing soon and regardless of what eMTS offers it will soon be whatever M-Modal offers. I could be wrong though, just a thought.

Expert Medical Transcription was bought by MModal -- EMTS stands for Electronic Medical Transcription Services and is located in Coral Gables, FL whereas Expert Medical Transcription is in Miami -- get your facts straight please. This is a new acount and I have been with them for several months. The account I am on is all straight typing and utilizes the FutureNet EHR program, but that does not mean, we get FutureNet overflow accounts.

I don't need to get "my facts straight" when I outwardly said - that I could be wrong.

I said I could be wrong so why not just correct my politely without your snippy remark? Since the OP said eMTS how am I supposed to know she means a EMTS from Coral Gables, FL or eMTS from Miami?

There were very "snipey" comments on here earlier -- EMTS is NOT the same as Expert Medical Transcription which was purchased by MModal. I have been with them for several months, when I have been sick, or circumstances beyond my control, they have understood. You are an employee and there is a MINIMUM line count to be met every pay period -- if not, you lose benefits and are put to part time. Also, yes, there are people in the office of "Indian descent" however, this company in NO way outsources. They sent a small gift at Christmas and when I started with them, I had MAJOR personal issues going on -- I kept in contact with them and once they were settled, I was able to continue on.

My current CCM is one of the best of the many I've had. I had previously worked with her on this account from1999 until we were sold to MQ in 2005; she is my 6th or 7th CCM here at MedQuist. So what is there to know about OSI before I make a life-changing decision? Minimum line count for FT? Approximate cpl for a "very experienced" MT, for straight typing; cpl for VR?
