MD-IT info? - tiredtyper

Does anybody have any info on MD-IT? I cannot find much at all and nothing very current. thanks.

for the Grand Rapids accounts. When I was hired, my supervisor was absolutely AWESOME! I had more work than I could dream of, she was very communicative, easy to talk to and a great leader. She then got transferred to a different department and things quickly spiralled downhill from there. MD-IT buys up small MTSO's and brings their owners/mgmt with it. I went through a few mgrs who were an absolute trainwreck! Unorganized, forget communication, gave my lines to someone else and didn't know how to find them and give them back. Then I got two mgrs from another buy-out under that mgr. These two were absolutely horrid to work for. NEVER communicate, NEVER answer emails when you had questions, changed everything that was working seamlessly to the way they ran their companies. I can see why they wanted to sell their businesses now. Work dried up, morale went down. Many long timers quit. They lost a HUGE psych hospital due to their thinking of how an account should be managed. Forget raises or praise. They are rude and definitely need to take a class in how to speak to people non-abrasively. And they were dishonest. I asked HR for a transfer out to another district. They said I needed to have my mgr contact them and give the okie-doke. My emails went unanswered once again and nothing happened.

MD-IT was a great company before these 3 managers got there in the Grand Rapids department. I don't know about the other departments, but stay away from Grand Rapids if you can. Pay is on-time, direct deposit, but wages are on the low end.

Every region has its own management so it sounds like the above poster was unlucky with the changes.

The region I work with are okay. Work gets low around holidays but on average enough to keep up line counts.

I have been there 3 years and never had a problem with late pay or wrong pay.

I worked for them a while back and had a pleasurable experience. Their DOX system was kind of new so it had kinks to work out, but overall was okay. I worked for another division, but I do know of one of those companies that was picked up in Grand Rapids and the mgrs were not good, so I feel for the other poster. My main contact, Tracey, was great and even invited me back when I gave my resignation. The only reason I left was trouble juggling multiple jobs.

It isn't easy to get off some of the spam and phone call lists when you click for more information about some of these courses. My current CCM is one of the best of the many I've had. I had previously worked with her on this account from1999 until we were sold to MQ in 2005; she is my 6th or 7th CCM here at MedQuist. She is very familiar with our hospital, very friendly, easy to communicate with, quick to answer emails, and always keeps us up to date. So what is there to know about OSI before I make a life-changing decision? Minimum line count for FT? Approximate cpl for a "very experienced" MT, for straight typing; cpl for VR?
