Unless you have run a company or you make rules and regulations on how to run a company, stop pretending you know the answer.
The reasoning behind the mass emails is to go to the everyone that is making that particular mistake and to keep others from making them as well. It is perfectly logical.
Why in the world would it bother you so much getting an email? If you know it isnt for you, then just delete it and go on with your life. Why would you let something like that bother you. There are people out here without jobs and losing their homes and you are sniveling about getting a harmless email.
GROW UP PEOPLE.
