some type of pharynx? - cap

Posted: Feb 22, 2011

This doctor uses this term twice and I can't figure out what he is saying.  It s/l pairing pharynx.  Here is the 2 ways he uses it.

Examination of the posterior (___) pharynx was somewhat limited.

PHARYNX:  The (___) pharynx was poorly visualized secondary to patient’s small body habitus.

I think it starts with a p?

Thanks

Do you know what type of procedure? - rad, intubation, etc? NM

I sent it to my boss, and she thinks it is just a stumble. I thought that when I was at the first one but when he stumbled at the same word the second time I thought it was a word. Anyway! Thanks.
