hydroxyzine pamoate is the generic of atarax, vistaril. google it.

I did, in fact, google it extensively. Your suggestion to do so implies you thought I did not. s/l "hy-drox-y-PAM" is what the dictator said, so I assumed he mushed "HYDROXYzine PAMoate" together.

As I am still somewhat of a newbie and fresh out of school, I wanted to be certain I hadn't missed something. As you can see by the first response, there are alternate opinions on the answer.

It seems to me this board is full of abused, cranky MTs (yes, I did notice your handle). I have found an incredible amount of negativity on this board when simple, honest questions are asked. Most here probably have over 10 times the experience I do, but that doesn't make it acceptable to make snide remarks. I am certain the cranky ones on this board were not perfect when they started in the industry. Kindly ease up on the negative language or don't reply at all. A simple request.
