I can't quite figure out whether the dictation says font or fount. Everything I find when I search on the internet states it could be either one. Anyone know which is correct? Thanks!
Font or fount of knowledge is where one would go to GET knowledge.
Fund of knowledge is how much knowledge one already HAS.
The above poster is correct in stating that in MT work, it will ALWAYS be fund of knowledge.
It doesn't matter what it "sounds like" the doctor dictated. Even if he clearly says "font" or "fount," he is incorrect and you should use "fund."
