Type of bronchitis? - sw

This doctor has a deep southern accent and speaks very quickly, so I'm having trouble deciphering whether he's running words together or if his accent is just totally changing the sound of the word. The first place I'm having trouble is under his assessment, it sounds like he is saying "iosnitic ronchitis/URI." A few lines later he says "Gave him a Z-Pak to cover any bacterial component and a (s/l steroid dopashit) 6-day pack for the wheezing and inflammation." It sounds like there are a few more syllables in the s/l in that sentence, but he's running everything so close together, I can't even fathom a guess.

Any help would be a godsend!

Purely a guess - but see if you can hear "tracheobronchitis" and maybe Medrol Dospak for the wheezing and inflammation. Personally I like the steroid dopashit. Like I said, these are complete guesses. Let me know, and if not the answer, will try to come up with something else.

I'd say the first one is either tracheobronchitis or maybe asthmatic bronchitis. The second one is most likely Medrol Dosepak. Thanks for the giggle : )

I still have no idea what the 2nd one is. I don't hear Medrol Dosepak, but when he gets out of the rambling part, I definitely hear "6-day pack for the wheezing and inflammation."

and Medrol Dosepak is a 6-day treatment, and it would be for inflammation and wheezing, so it makes sense. Maybe DexPak TaperPak 6 day?
