Let's try this one more time. "Multiple regions of low density in both sides of the internal capsule. Probably represent old (s/l) 'pointment' or infarctions."
Is there any particular region that gets NJA more than others? Would you be willing to post your state? I'm wondering why my region is bombarded with work in the past 6 - 8 months. I am getting calls and emails BEGGING for help. We are always back logged and being offered bonuses and incentive pay. I am in SW New Mexico. It is easy to get help and a hold of my CCM and RTL and they are very helpful and professional.
Just wondering if it's all in one area o ...
Does it mean your main hospitals/clinics are in a specific region? Just curious as I'm former Spheris & we didn't have anything like that. My primary is in FL & my backups are from coast to coast pretty much. ...
When I was with MQ, it had regions, but in all the information we MDIers have thus received, I don't remember anyone talking about regions. So will the accts that merged over be split into regions?
By the way, has anyone (MDIers) received the new log-in numbers yet? I expect we'll need them for tomorrow and I have yet to hear about mine... ...
I am in the north region and no one is using the Swapboard except me, which does not do me any good!! What is going on??? Any other regions actively using it??? ...
The patient's peritoneal carcinomatosis index is 34. This is as follows: Region 03, region 13, region 23, region 33, region 42, region 53, region 63, region 73, region 82, region 92, region and 102, region 112, region 123. The small bowel serosa surface and had minimal disease.
They were dictated as region zero 3, 1 3, etc. Im thinking maybe I should have them as 0-3, 1-3, etc all the way down the line to region 10-2, 11-2, 12-3??? ...
Specific regions??? I wish. I am supposed to be West but have reports from California, Oregon, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Virginia, etc. You name it. Hardly ever the same client or dictator. This doesn't make it easy to make line count or any money having to start over with every report. ...
TSM (whatever) sent e-mail saying "With the merger of all regions into one..." I thought it was just a couple of BoBs merging. Ok. I'd say TSMs will be on the chopping block first, then us, then the suits can put on the party hats and open the Mysore facility with glee. ...
From reading MQs posts it seems that different regions do better than others.
My question is, are you hired and put into a "Region" according to where you live or your experience, or who needs help, or . . . ?
Have a Merry X-Mas and hopefully a Happy New Year! ...
After discussing with some MTs in other regions, I am discovering that MMEs across regions are doing things differently. I just became an MME last year and had not done QA before. We have repeatedly been told to only fix what is WRONG - and to NOT make the report look like we typed it ourselves. In other words, don't be picky - only change it if it changes the meaning of the sentence/report.
However, this is not the case across regions. I've seen MTs in other r ...
Anterior to this mass, there is a linear "quiensilar" density measuring 2.4 cm in maximum longitudinal length, which may represent focal reactive changes in breast or adjacent neoplastic changes, possibly DCIS. ...
We seem to be getting more and more emails charting our progress, charting our errors, charting how much time we are idle. You name it, these people are chart crazy. I think they like the multiple colors. I am worn out from it all. If they spent half the time actually building us up with positives instead of negatives all the time, maybe, just maybe it would help our production. ...
I'm training with Nuance. CC goes to a doc, there is a choice of 2 to choose from, same city, both GP's. I can't find anything in the pdf manual about how to pend this. I asked and was told by TM to find it in the manual. I can't. Anyone know? Thx for any help. ...
I have five accounts that I currently work on - three are considered my "primaries" and two are "secondaries". Does this seem like a lot or is it just me? I have to switch between three different platforms to perform the work and on a daily basis I work in at least four of the accounts. I'd love to find a position where I just had two, maybe even three accounts - does this even exist anymore? ...
I work for an MTSO and have been given 4 accounts. After my first one ran out of work they gave me another, and then when that one ran out they gave me another and so on and so forth.
My primary and secondary accounts I like, they are basically sister hospitals and are pretty similar. My fourth account is very large and always has work and is a totally different type of hospital, but I like the work and the packet the QA people sent me is very informative and easy to find what you need. However ...
A recent _____ and Beta-2 microglobulins were checked, and the results are pending.
Sounds like Pess-step (he's eating, so it is hard to hear)
Thanks!

The patient has relapsed multiple myeloma. The doc is saying the goal is to start her on s/l BRD with the hope of getting her to an excellent remission. TIA. ...
We are all wondering what is going on. There are 3-4 companies doing this account. Is one going to finally end up with it or is the account so huge that we are all going to do it...is the question. If you are on it, you probably know what I am talking about (Companies including Keystrokes, Medquist, Keys, Healthscribe, eMTS).
I hope this is not a ban-able question - just wondering if I am going to be out of a job - From where I am, the super says we are getting it - but I see ...
I was just wondering from anyone who has taken the CCS exam recently, is the whole exam multiple choice? I ask because I am taking the Andrews course and using the AHIMA-published workbooks and they are all multiple choice. I use a different skill set when doing these questions, work my way backward with deductive reasoning, reading the question and looking up each answer, eliminating the wrong ones. This seems faster to me and I want to work as fast as I can on the test. ...
