Can someone explain what this merge of regions is? I have not received a single email regarding any changes.
They will not email you unless you are moved to a different TSM. - nm

Ive been very lucky, had 4 TSMs in the past couple of years, one I could not stand, she was fired, we argued a lot, lol. the other 3 have really been very nice. I just hate the job, not my boss.

I did get the email, and I asked if I was losing my current account, and was assured that I wasn't, will only have a different log-on number. Now I'm worried. I like my supervisor and QA person.

I personally do not like what I'm reading in my email. From what I understand, work will flow into us from hundreds of accounts in our region. We will no longer see mainly work from our primaries. Makes me very nervous and I hope I'm wrong. We will know in a week and I'll let you know. Friday is when it's supposed to switch over.

verify you could log in by Friday and change your password.
They supposedly transferred our shortcut files over, but I guess we cannot tell until there is actually work in this new region.

Along with a new company code for Fluency, I got the email that stated "We have a project underway for our Fluency platform to merge the South, West, Strategic and Radiology/Pathology Service Centers into the North Service Center".
Oh joy. More accounts, which means more headaches from doctors I will hate.
western merge - oh, groan

I hope that doesn't mean I'll start getting work from an account I had before the current one, which was also in the west. It was a living nightmare. All the worst dictators in one area - I suspect certain ones like the desert.
I got the email, they are combing West and some - L&L

others, but my TSM said she would be the same. I think they are making more work available to more people, so lots more of us will start running out, just like the bad old days. Does Mmodal ever change for the better...NO.

NJA IN MQ REGIONS Jul 28, 2010Is there any particular region that gets NJA more than others? Would you be willing to post your state? I'm wondering why my region is bombarded with work in the past 6 - 8 months. I am getting calls and emails BEGGING for help. We are always back logged and being offered bonuses and incentive pay. I am in SW New Mexico. It is easy to get help and a hold of my CCM and RTL and they are very helpful and professional.
Just wondering if it's all in one area o ...

Transcend Regions? Jan 31, 2010When I was with MQ, it had regions, but in all the information we MDIers have thus received, I don't remember anyone talking about regions. So will the accts that merged over be split into regions?
By the way, has anyone (MDIers) received the new log-in numbers yet? I expect we'll need them for tomorrow and I have yet to hear about mine... ...

Question Abour Your Regions? Dec 21, 2009From reading MQs posts it seems that different regions do better than others.
My question is, are you hired and put into a "Region" according to where you live or your experience, or who needs help, or . . . ?

Quality Guidlines Across Regions Apr 24, 2010After discussing with some MTs in other regions, I am discovering that MMEs across regions are doing things differently. I just became an MME last year and had not done QA before. We have repeatedly been told to only fix what is WRONG - and to NOT make the report look like we typed it ourselves. In other words, don't be picky - only change it if it changes the meaning of the sentence/report.
However, this is not the case across regions. I've seen MTs in other r ...
