How to express "1-teens" - Nik

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before, but it's the first time I've run across it. "Patient had a pulse rate in the 1-teens." Everything I try looks odd, and I'm not really sure what's correct. Any help greatly appreciated.

it is appearing to say 110 or in that range between 110-111, rather than the one-teens- there is a difference between 10 and then the teens, which is why you can say the range of 110s, but not so much when you have a number in the teen range, i.e. 13, 14, 15. Just imho.

This question comes up periodically. It is correct to use 110s. When we use 120s, we don't worry that it excludes 121, for example.

It's not 110s. Dictator is not saying 110 range, he/she is saying 1-teens. 120 range is very clear, in the 120s.

It just looks like it is the easiest to read and make sense out of what the person was trying to say.

I would not do 110s, it's just not accurate. Like poster said it could be taken to be in the 110 range, or 110.2, etc.,range.

Does anyone know anything about Transcriptions Express? In researching them I found 3 complaints on the Rip Off Report about them. They, evidently, charge for early termination, is this standard? They also charge for equipment if you don't have any. I think this is just a way for some companies to increase their bottom line. It sounds like these were just disgruntled ex-employees. Hi, I bought ES Pro in 2012 and have not had any problems with playing dictation. I also have DSS to WAV to convert files. I converted a DS2 file to WAV but a message pops up that I'm using a "demo trial version for evaluation use only" and I now need to purchase an upgrade. Ugh!!! I have just started having trouble with Express Scribe. Regardless of whether I am using the foot pedal or the function keys, it is as if the program does not recognize what I am doing. Sometimes it takes multiple presses of the stop button or taps on the footpedal to get the dictation to stop. Sometimes when I press reverse on the footpedal I end up playing or fast forwarding. At first, restarting my computer seemed to fix the problem, but now nothing seems to make much difference. Any suggesti ...
