Im new on Bayscribe and this accounts have a lot of ESLs. There are lots of times I need to go to the very beginning of a report to proof it Is there a keyboard command I can use instead of having to wait for it to rewind or using the mouse. Its driving me crazy....

On your Bayscribe voice bar, look to the top and over to the right and you will see a command called "mark" - when you click on that, it will leave a little line at every point in the dictation that you want to go back to and review. Then when you go back you can just move your cursor to that mark and the audio will start at that point.

Thanks so much. I didnt know what that was for. Im going to try it. So if I want to go to the beginning of the dictation I should leave a mark there?

If you want to go all the way back to the beginning, just put your cursor at the arrow at the end of the voice bar and drag it back to the begining and the audio will start over again. You can drag your arrow to any spot in the dictation and it will start from there.

If you are listening to the dictation and know you have a blank, take your foot off the pedal and click on the mark at the top of the audio player, which will mark the spot, and then just start listening again. Then when you are done with the dictation and want to go over all your blanks, just move your arrow on the Bayscribe player to each checked little slash (mark, and it will take you back to the spot you are unsure of.

I updated to IE10 from IE9 and now the QA marker won't work. Anybody know what to do to get it to work? Anybody working on Bayscribe in IE10? I key in Alt-Q and the marker comes up, but when I press enter or okay with the mouse, the box goes away and no marker in the text. I can go in an uninstall the update if need be, but I was hoping this would work. TIA. ...

I started with a company using BayScribe. I have a rather unusual problem. The BayScribe expander will not function in the document. I can bring it up via Control F3 and can add entries, but they will not expand. When my machine is entered remotely, that user IS able to expand, but within the same session, I still cannot expand. I have uninstall, reinstalled, Norton off, IE setting fine. Toggling on and off makes no difference. I have been troubleshootin ...

Bayscribe shuts down a couple times a day and I have been getting this message ~ "Malfunction or malicious ad-on caused Internet Explorer to close web page." Those of you who are familiar with Bayscribe, did you find: The spell check dictionary is void of many common words? It also does not detect uncapped words at the beginning of sentences or spacing issues. The word expander locks up for periods of time so cannot create new expansions.
