A community of 30,000 US Transcriptionist serving Medical Transcription Industry
Just hired by TransTechMedical and I am very excited about starting. However in order to install the software, I must allow the Support staff to have access to my computer. This is through LogMeIn on their web site. You enter Support icon and then go to LogMeIn. Every time I do this, it gives me a message that connection has failed. I have been told that Windows Firewall may be blocking this or pop-up blockers or other filters on IE8. Also maybe the browser is disrupting me from entering their site. I have disabled my Norton Anti-virus and Firewalls on Norton. This does not help. I have installed a new browser, Google Chrome. This did not help. Also have gone into security and allowed for remote access here. I have added LogMeIn to my trusted sites on security. Still does not work.
Any suggestions or ideas about why this is not connecting. Thanks a lot. If I cannot get this fixed, I may not be able to work anywhere really.
