I am looking at quitting MQ, and I'm using their computer...do you think they'll let me buy the computer from them???? I can't imagine it's cheap to mail it back to them, and will need a computer for my new job.

Send it back, even if they say they'll sell it to you. They tend to lose track of things, and they'll hound you for it in years to come. When you do send it back, go the tracking site and print out the page that says they picked it up, and keep it forever. It tells you the day they signed for it, who signed for it, the time, etc.

They said they didn't want the POS CRT monitor, POS keyboard that I don't use because it's straight, and POS mouse that I don't use because the ball kept crudding up and switched to an optical, oh and the POS speakers. If you have a flatscreen monitor, though, they want that puppy back. They sent me a box and shipping labels.

I wouldn't buy it from them. Not only would they rip you off, but then forget that they ripped you off and accuse you of stealing. You can get a decent work PC these days for under $400.

and everything of theirs in the box that would fit, all manuals, paperwork, etc, keyboard. Let them pay to take it all back if it is something you don't want.

I sent mine back 1-1/2 years ago, and back then, they paid. I'm guessing it's the same now. They only wanted the tower, not the monitor or peripherals.

They pay the postage and will send you the box and packing material. Send it back, it does the job, but is not the best computer for this type of work, they are sent back and re-furbished. In the past 5 years I have had 5 computers, 3 crashed and 2 just ran lousy.

Better to invest in a brand new one with a warranty and a superior anti-viral, anti-malware/spyware program.

If it was me, I'd do like someone said, stuff EVERYTHING they ever sent to me in the box and send it back!

I leave my computer up and running all the time. In the past week every morning I am having to reboot because I get an error saying "insufficient system resources to perform this action." I was just wondering how old some computers are that are having problems with 6.1 and if there are people with newer computers that handles it better. Mine is a MQ computer that is 4 years old now and it bogs down quite a bit. Everything is sluggish now. I do have 1 GB of ram and 1.84 GHz, so 6.1 shouldn't take a toll on it as bad as it is. Tech support says the Dpcqscribe program will only work with a 32 bit 4 gig computer...Im trying to not have to use their virtual desktop since it is lagging my computer something fierce..So I went to Best Buy today and all they have is 64 bit Windows 7 models..but they did say I could load windows 7 professional on there for another 99 dollars and it will run as a 32 bit...has anyone tried this and had it work??...Ill call tech support in the morning before I invest..I need to get off this craz ...

I am a new hire at Transcend and would like to use a laptop for work as I visit my kids a lot. What would be the best laptops to buy? Would appreciate if you included the exact name of the laptop and the processor speed.
