I know, I must be in beginning stages of dementia, but... What if the changes were not all bad? Considering they are having to have sign on bonuses to get new hires and I understand current employees are still dropping like flies maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This new quality stuff I am not sure about, but can it be worse than Fiesa?

I agree with you. Maybe they are seeing the mass departure of transcriptionists and actually listening to what we are saying about the company. But they can send us the information already. GEEZ....

Every year we go through this period of hanging in the balance. I understand this is the time of the year for open enrollment, but adding to that stress the stress of not knowing what our pay will be is too much to bear. There are a lot of people who have depression problems around the holidays and this is probably adding to it. Plain and simple, it's cruel. Please, Nuance, show some compassion and humanity. Tell us about the pay scale NOW!!!!!

Pitiful is the only way to describe the management here.

I can't decide if I prefer to think it is incompetence and they really are just that disorganized and unprofessional (and stupid to not realize they are losing more by how they are doing it), or if they are deliberating playing psychological warfare with us. Not sure which is worse.

Nuance, put on your Nike shoes and "Just Do It" Tell us ... what our pay will be, what our schedules will be, and what our pools will be. JMHO

day in the life of Nuance. So many hoops to jump through that one will never last long enough or qualify for the bonus. They are trying to stockpile backup MLS in case of a mass exodus in response to their exciting new pay plan.

are likely to not do as well. The question is though whether or not the bump will be helpful or not. Every little bit does help but little bits do not help much.

The question is, will the hospitals pay more to the company? I doubt it. If they are not bringing in more income from the hospitals, then the money will have to come from somewhere else. Who is taking the pay cut then? Will the difference be made up by hiring more India MTs and reducing the US work force or by improvements in VR? Lots of questions and the likely answers are not encouraging.

the account I was on with Transcend went completely offshore. Watching the volume fluctuations on the account I am on now makes me concerned for that one too. I am just hoping to make it to February or March. Just a little longer.

Shall we make our guesses? Wonder if the new pay scale will be an across the board percentage reduction in rates or will everyone be moved to the bottom rate of 8 and 4? What about the people recently hired who make 8 and 4? Will they go even lower?
