Anyone other MDIer think it is funny that we have not heard one word from Dorothy, not even a good luck, nothing. She took the money and ran. She does not give a crap about all of us.

I am disappointed, too. (So much for patriotism, eh?) The MTs worked hard and really helped make MDI what it is. While I honestly do wish her well, I am very disappointed at the same time. But then, I have come to the conclusion that ALL MTSOs think we are just machines. Somehow humanity has been lost in this profession, and that loss extends much further than just MDI. We are all electronic slaves.

that MDI had just stayed MDI, I have come to see things in a broader perspective. In these uncertain times, being an employee may be a better idea, for one thing (my opinion only). I've re-adjusted my attitude, and am trying to look for the positives...and remember, Dorothy hasn't run anywhere. She is taking an important position within the company, which she certainly didn't have to do. So I don't even feel abandoned. If she didn't care about us, my friend, she could have just shut the doors to MDIers and said good luck. I for one am going to count my blessings.

I agree, MDI was the greatest under D's guidance. But we've all had time to come to grips with the merger since it was announced in August. I suddenly find the idea of employee not a bad idea either in this crappy economy. As for those spewing sour grapes on D, she is probably on the road drumming up more accounts to keep us all working...and based on some of the postings I've seen here, if I were her, I think I'd pass on offering any comments at all. If you don't like the situation still after 5 months, find another job and leave the work for those of us who are willing to give things a chance. Pretty simple.

Just that I would think after working for her for years, that she would just say a little thank you, or good luck or something. Just seems a little strange not to hear one word from her on our "big" day.
