...traceable path right back to your computer. Nuance can and has routinely blocked many people from further access to this board, which means you would have to use another device, a public library computer, cell phone etc. I know of people to disappear from the company altogether too.

Remember, they are software geeks at heart and can accomplish savage deeds.

And to the grouch that always tells us to post something new? Some messages are worth repeating time and time again, because new people arrive here daily, so keep your rude admonishments to yourself. I consider this a small act of kindness that I'm paying forward, as I would hope any other compassionate soul to do for me.

By replying to an e-mail that may, in fact, be coming from someone at Nuance instead of someone on this board, they can trace our IP ? address I believe?

ALL POSTERS READ - YOUR IDENTITY ON MTSTARS

I have addressed this in the past and, due to the content on the board currently, I believe it would be in everyone's best interest to repeat it on occasion. Let's be perfectly clear about a few things on posting on MTStars and posting on any board. There are 3 topics here each of you need to read:

1. Your identity when posting on MTStars: Your identity is safe on MTStars, including your IP address, your email. Your IP address is not and will not be given out unless we receive a court order to do so. Even if you receive an email through this board, ONLY if you reply back to that email will your email address be revealed to that person. If you receive email through this board, the individual sending the email to you has read a post by you and is emailing you blindly - they have no idea who they are emailing.

Anyone making any suggestion whatsoever that your identity can be determined or verified or retrieved from MTStars through actions by MTStars (other than through a US court order) is libeling MTStars and just trying to panic all of you. It is a lie.

2. Exposing your identity on MTStars or any other forum: This is something YOU do. You do not have to list your name for others (individuals or companies) to recognize you. If you give enough information, it can be very apparent who is posting. So, you do need to be very aware of this. Especially if you are discussing details which tie you to a specific situation with a company - if you talk about it, that company probably will recognize who you are. This can happen on ANY forum - even private ones. Who reads this board? EVERYONE! Anyone can read it. Anyone can post here. Individuals, companies...everyone reads here. Do not think that your own company does not read this website to see what is posted about them. Even private boards (where you have to sign up to be a member and then log in to post) can only offer you so much protection. Anyone can become a member of a forum and then read all the posts. So, again, if you give out too much information you are giving away your identity.

3. Posting on other forums: I want to make sure that all posters here are aware of this situation: No other forum, including MTStars can guarantee you they will never reveal your information. Especially those that use free forum software and online applications to provide their boards (e.g., Proboards) as they don't even own their own board and domain! All posts belong to the company they are getting their free lease from! In any event, if a forum is hit with a court order, they will have to give up that information (and it can be given from the website host). So, do not believe any other individual who promises you such safety - it is limited anywhere. I just wanted you to be aware of it.

I don't think Nuance cares what any of us say here, unless it's giving away company info or something like that. They don't care about us, in their minds, "whining and complaining." Believe me they have better things to do like come up with more ways to reduce our pay--that takes TIME...which would be wasted coming to this board.

They certainly aren't going to fire anyone over posting here, either, as you imply (disappear?). They just don't care enough to bother with us. They already know a lot of MTs are unhappy with them--have they done anything to show that they care and/or try to make them better? Nope.

They can't "block" anyone from this site, especially if they are using their OWN computer. Only the moderator can do that--it's her site.

It is ridiculous and petty. Just because they don't want you to go and write stuff about them, if you do a search re medical terminology many of the links that turn up are from MTStars and because of their nasty spitefulness you are unable to access them.

When you have their computer, they can do what they want, but not your own.

I had a tech person delete Firefox off my (their) computer because it was somehow evil. I was using Firefox as basically a search engine and for log-ins (it remembers the interminable passwords and garbage for signing in that IE does not - like anyone wants to hack into freaking FIESA or Enrich, for crying out loud!) after freezing problems with IE8.

It was like a smack in the face and whenever I call tech now I make sure there is nothing they can see which they might consider bad for Nuance, even if it is my own computer.

Everyone needs to review Fiesa audits carefully. I received several "below 99" scores over the past 2 weeks and each of them had errors where they counted off for things that the account specifics said to do the way I did them and these incorrect deductions put me below 99% on those reports . I put in the request to have those scores changed and in each case it will bring those audits to up above 99%. Review and speak up when they are wrong! ...

Why do they make such a big deal out of an error, including sending e-mails saying "ERROR ALERT" or making a 3-point error a "critical patient safety error," then docking your pay for same, but if you go back to look at the document or to listen to it again, which you can in Escription, they have NEVER CORRECTED THE ERROR???
