So I am in my 2nd week of being an ex-nuancer and not being an MT. There is a whole new world out there I forgot existed. My hands, fingers, wrists, elbows, back, and bum do not hurt and ache. No headaches. I get to leave my job when I am done and come home and forget about it. Good pay, good benefits, and I get to see other people every day instead of just me and my computer. Although there is of course the adjustment of not having the security of being home everyday to handle personal situations that may come up, etc., I can honestly say I do not miss Nuance or transcription at all. It is refreshing to be doing something different. I hope more of you can find your "greener grass" because it is out there.
