How long from finishing training to start? - MTNuanew

I finished training. They knew I was going to be working for a couple of weeks. Still have not heard from supervisor.

I was told last week I was now in the hands of my "supervisor" to contact with questions. I received nothing from any supervisor, and today I was told on the live training class to go to my supervisor and begin working immediately.

I have sent several e mails to find out when I actually begin working, wondering why I have not heard from this so-called supervisor who does not yet exist to me.

Can anyone tell me, has the ball dropped and I won't hear again, or will I be working soon? That is from your experience.

I just recently started and from when I finished my training (all of it) it probably took 2 to 3 days BUT I did followup with an email to my team leader and told her I was done and she said she would get me my passwords sent etc and I received them within 24 hours and then started the next day. Took forever to get through all the training and stuff but once through it was fairly fast but I do feel that if I hadn't sent her an email telling her I had finished it would have been longer because it is their responsibility to get you actually all signed up etc.

I see that you are new at Nuance. How do you like it so far? Is the platform easy to learn? I have been offered a position there but so scared to accept it due to all the negative things I've read on this site so far. Very, very discouraging, and I don't know if I can believe it all or not ... Everyone has different experiences. Thank you for any info !

I just got an e-mail that we have to do some kind of Teamwork training before the 26th. What??? Is this paid training (yeah right)? How do they do this to us before Christmas? Just wanted to hear from some of you more seasoned MTs out there...I am scheduled to sit for the RMT exam on Monday, 4/19 and have been preparing for this since mid-January by taking a review course via M-TEC. Several folks have advised me that rather than waiting the typical 2 years, I should consider studying to take the CMT exam immediately after passing the RMT. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers, well wishes or just encouragement, I got the office position job I applied for, took my drug test yesterday and will be starting training next week. I am so very excited to FINALLY be getting back out in the work force. I tried to hang on to being an MT as long as possible, have been job jumping for some time, but thought it would get better. Anyone know when the QC incentive is going to start? I kept running out of work as an MT, so decided to make the move to QC because they were supposed to start that incentive like 2 months ago now (false advertising, yay!) ... have been making nearly $200 less per paycheck since making the switch since I lost my weekly MT bonus, ugh. :( Anytime I ask my supervisor she just says she is mad about it as well and they won't give her a straight answer... mhmm. ...
