I was wondering why in the new 6.1 version, it takes more words to get an automatic S marker inserter (highlighting words then using the delete button). I used to have to count the words and if 5 or more, used to place the S marker. I wonder why now the difference. Do you think the Q keeps track of how many S markers are generally given in our documents as their ASR system is developed, and now wants to give themselves another pat on the back, exclaiming how their stellar ASR system is becoming more accurate? I.e. less markers means more actual word matching by their system. Of course, we could always manually enter the S marker, but that would only help the ASR system learn even faster, thus a double-edged sword.
I lso have shake my head at how I have to clean up all the ESL ASR work. It's like those foreigners just throw out words to us. Then the ASR gobbles up all our knowhow and learns the gibberish for that doctor. It takes me way longer to decipher the appropriate words given to me by ASR and by the time I figure out it takes too long to do that in ASR, it's too late to f11 it.
It's no wonder they're having all those problems rolling out the 6.1. They're making us work for them to figure it out with our feedback. Such deception.
