SA2 running out of work? - Sunshine

Has anyone else been running out of work in Sa2 the past few weeks? I have been told to change my schedule and been offered crapola hours. Just wondering how others have been doing lately. It has been a while since I posted on here. Thanks.

Most of us in SA2 have been running out of work, no matter how we change our hours. The problem is many of the BOBs in our region have lost large, major accounts, either to offshore or the new electronic medical record. Those BOBs have been forced to transfer their MTs to other BOBs and we have the domino effect.

Is that what your ccm or whomever tell you? This does not look good for us. Its so hard making hours up and now I just switched a few hours to early morning and there is no work!

yes, no work here again, yes has been nja for weeks and struggling, cannot get enough, putting the pay down to min wage. sucks and THIS is the largest company in the world. makes since they are still hiring and so many have NJA

I would go to that website and apply for a job with the Q and let the recruiter contact you. You might get hired for a region where there is work, although I don't know where that would be.

Signed on this evening and only had 1.5 hours in and NJA after that. It sounds like they are trying to get rid of the oldies who in their eyes make too much money. This sucks

I don't know where SA2 is. I'm in the SE region. I haven't had work for 5 months so just went part time and got another full-time job.

I contacted my CTL many times. I e-mailed my super many times and no one would had an answer as to why there was no work except that much of it is in India. They could not tell me that things would get better. The only time I had work was on weekends and one can not work 40 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

its the North region. How is it working out for you part time? That is awful you had no work for 5 months. did they say anything to you what the reason was during that time? all the sudden today I have NJA available. It's definitely been slow in the past, but now NJA for long periods of time. I HATE this company so bad. I'm praying to find another job, and it won't be soon enough when I do!!!

They're sending work to India, still hiring, and also outsourcing our work to other US companies. I don't understand why they don't bother to take care of the employees THEY ALREADY HAVE. Very poor business practices.

We have been offered a job to move right over, etc. and everything sounds just wonderful. LOL. However, I see on the board many, many unhappy employees. I will never understand why companies over hire, we were ontop of TAT. In 2 weeks we have gone from 100s of files to 20 and fighting each other for them. 1200 lines to 400 a day ? Amazing the amount of job hopping necessary to support our families as most of type long hours, low pay to support our families. I am sickened by the thought of losing another job to no lines and the financial downfall it will have on my family..... I do not want to name company as I fear ...

I have an opportunity to get a brand new MAC as a gift. My boyfriend has an extra one. I work on the BeyondText platform and remember seeing someone on here had a MAC but had a way to split it so her Windows programs ran on the MAC somehow. Tech support at Transcend says it won't work on a MAC. Or maybe I was wondering if an external driver could be used that was Windows and would run on the MAC. Probably a pipe dream, but a MAC! The facility typically pays by the hour and is paying by line for the first time, so they aren't familiar with how to do it either. Their IT department is busy and not able to give me much help. I just came on shift and the system is sluggish, taking forever to download jobs and to switch between screens for ADT. As if that wasn't delightful enough, I just got the dreaded "unable to provide further audio" on the only decent-length job I've had, and I was actually able to hear it just fine. I broke it just to be on the safe side - I'm not going to do a job if I'm not sure of getting credit for it. Is anybody else dealing with ...

I tested with Opti-Script less than 2 months ago and I was told that I passed, but that there was a waiting list to be hired and that they would contact me as soon as they had openings.
