A community of 30,000 US Transcriptionist serving Medical Transcription Industry
Just a quick line to let you all know that there are better things out there for you. I am now 79 days away from graduating with my MD. The only blocks I have left are orthopedics and pain management. I have worked my way through medical school, which of course means I did not have much time to study. None the less, I am in the top 10% of my class, and I attribute it to the information I learned transcribing. Even if you feel you do not have the 4+ years to put in to become a doctor, there are many, many other occupations out there in which your experience as a transcriptionist will prove invaluable.
PS. I wonder if TAA will reimburse me for my tuition ($88,000)?
