Posted: Oct 06, 2011Does anybody know if you can cancel your insurance/benefits because you need the money?

Not sure, but the last I knew you could only change your insurance during enrollment period or if you had a life-changing event i.e., birth/adoption of a child, death of spouse providing insurance, divorce, etc. The insurance the Q provides is a joke anyway! Also if you go to PT you will lose any insurance but, again, the last I knew you could work UP TO 39 hours on PT. So check out going to PT, but putting in more hours. Course, my CCM had just barely told us the news about being able to work "extra" hours on PT as long as we did not go over the 39. I was kinda excited.... then another pay cut hit, my account vanished, and 2 days later I decided to vanish too.....
