New benefits rate - Anon

I received my news benefits rate today - down another dollar from last time. Pretty soon I won't even be getting minimum wage.

Mine went down $4/hr - What happened???

i have this fantasy that one day (soon) every single MT/ME/MME etc. would just plain quit. Just send our CCMs a letter saying, "I resign, effective immediately. Send vacation pay - it's the law."

The PTO I carried over from 2009 was earned at a higher rate that will be paid when I take it in 2010.

Were you faced with a lot of NJA during this period? I was wondering what would make a rate go down by $4?

If I had to point a finger in my case, I would say it is the ASR. The ASR I get has LOTS of editing and changes to be made. It is very time consuming. I think this just has to do with the BOB that I am in. At least I hope no one else has to deal with these awful jobs and dictators!

I went down a dollar - because I don't do freebies for MQ on my own time. May be self-destructive, but at least I have time to run my life when I am not scheduled to be working. If I fiddled with reading QA feedback, answered work emails, fiddled with instructions that don't work, etc. etc. I would be eating up my own time instead of doing things I need to do to take care of myself. Will cut back on that now that I see what happened, but NO FREEBIES FOR MQ any more for me!!! - one way or another. I'll find a way - am P.O.'d] enough for that!!!!!!

You are allowed a 10% difference between time you are logged into DocQscribe and the time calculated on your time card. Use the time to work off the clock and raise or keep your benefit rate at a decent level. Keeping your email checking/distractions to a minimum is a great idea, but learn to work the system for your advantage. You have to look out for you- MQ certainly doesn't!

I'm a newer employee of 4 months and STILL trying to meet my full time status by making $900 a pay period. I really don't want to work more than 40 hours a week to do this. As June is approaching us, I suggest that anyone who has health benefits appeal to upper management (I emailed Vern and got a decent reply) to please consider better benefits.
