How do I know if primary is being sent overseas - SQ

I was reading below about the TAA. I have less and less work. I have had NJA all this week, never ran out at this time of year before. Last time they blamed it on the storms on the East Coast. My pay is continually going down, especially after the previous pay decrease, and now NJA.

My question is how do I know if my accounts are going oversease, and this is why I am out of work to apply for TAA.

Ask you CCM too. She will probably tell you the truth. I can't believe she would actually lie through her teeth, but then again . . .

Or sometimes, if your account has gone, at the top, where the jobs are shown coming in . . you will see that you are overflow for the ILP. It will show with the job information.

if you are doing a client's overflow that is already in India.

I used to get that a lot -- when doing different clients in the national pool -- but I haven't seen it for a while.

Of course I get NJA screens instead now.

I guess they are holding their own with the work. They are probably feeling pretty much up to the task after the free foot massages and yoga classes.

I had this one account for 8 years. At the end, it started to slowly dry up. Company blamed it on the holiday season which then turned to another holiday season. Then it was the weather. Then it was not many people were sick or going to the hospital. Finally, it dried up and then my manager told me it went to their own EPIC system. About 6 months later, I found out from CTL, it went to India. I confronted CTL and told her I was told EPIC was the culprit. She said, truthfully, it went to India and that is what she heard.

So they do not tell you the truth in this company. They just treat us MT's like a bunch of morons.

This is the same scenario that I have. the hliday, then the weather, who knows what now.

When they redid our BOB, 1 of the accounts was removed, because that client refused their work to leave the country. Therefore, the remaining accounts must allow this. They said we have employees in Canada, and techinically they could not work on that account. HUH!!!

who absolutely refuse to have their account be done overseas. They are still on my backlog and BOB. The ones who are not listed are the ones who are gone overseas or did go to EPIC and have their doctor's dictating, or lastly, went to another MTSO firm.

We work for such a great company! BULLCRAP!

It has been found in labor department hearings and in petition #72153 that the outsourcing of work to India is the cause for lack of work for US employees. The employer claims re-alignments in the company of job descriptions, work types and wages in an attempt to deny benefits to affected employees by forcing them to quit under the conditions rather than laying workers off honestly.

The certification of Medquist under the TAA act expires September 22, 2011. If you have been affected by the outsourcing of your work, you need to file before then.

They can feed you propagana easily for 18 months to stretch out your hope and keep you in fear with performance management, etc.

The fact is that they have been found to owe US workers. We owe them nothing.

Get up from the chair ladies! No one has you tied up!

Go get your TAA benefits. The petition has already been certified. All you have to do is ask for what is yours.

How can any company be compliant with HITECH/HIPPA when they send work overseas. Isn't that a HIPPA violation and should the patient be notified that their personal information, diagnoses, history, SS#, in some cases home address, DOB, etc, is sometimes mentioned in reports and overseas MTs have access to it?
