Just curious, has anyone gotten Happy MT wishes from BR? I'll take "dislikes" for a no.....

I do not have BR, but I have not heard from RW since I transferred to her POD over a month ago. Talk about a morale buster.

I, too, had RW before. I am not surprised. She was the same way when I was in her "pod." I often would have to send her the same email 3x before I would finally get an answer, and then she would be short and irritated that I had emailed her 3x. I simply told her that if she had bothered to answer the 2 emails I would not have needed to send the 3rd!

I hope she is beside herself with anger and frustrated by all of this. Let her take the brunt of it and suffer the consequences. Let her see if her supervisor will help her out? Let her see if anyone cares about her? Let her lose money because of this. Let her be an MT for a day and suffer the pains we suffer.

I hope she gets a sore throat!

When she calls me, which she used to, not anymore, her voice was like you said, so abrasive, like nails on a chalkboard.

I told her I would not answer the phone while I am working, because it took away from my production; I told her I would not answer the phone on my own personal time. The best way to communicate with me is via e-mail and I would check those if a window presented itself. I am so done taking their crumbs and their BS, that I just do what I can when I am supposed to. I could care less about anything else. Half of the e-mails I do not read. QA, I sometimes will check that, if I had a question. I get my paycheck, what there is of it and move on.

I am out of here in about three months, so whatever they want to do to me between now and then, is okay by me.

Who in their right mind names a company "Happy Transcriptions?" In this day and age, all I see is "sad" MTs and, in my opinion, if "Happy Transcriptions" is still happy, they can only be messing even more with us poor "sad" MTs. I've been at TTS for almost 3 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about TTS. I never have to guess what TTS expects from me, and I do my best to deliver that on a consistent basis. I was laid off as an MT a couple of months ago. I am wondering if there is a single person on this forum who is an MT who is happy with their job (including the miniscule pay that would be appropriate compensation if it were around 1975 rather than 2013 or lived in another country in which one can buy a lot more with 50 cents). Sunday it will be 2 months I have been at my new position since leaving MM. I no longer need to take Prilosec daily and my dr. has decreased my BP med. Furthermore, I was asked after a month if I would like to do full time editing at 6 cpl AND I get paid for every single line I edit....not less than half that MM pays their MMEs.
