I am so sick of emails daily of do this and do that and change this and change that, geeze I would love to slap the head of MModal, the creators of Fluency, the advisors of fluency because obviously if this stupid platform was supposed to work so brilliantly then WHY are there so many stupid corrections and notes every day! OMG I hate this stupid thing, it reminds me of the Obamacare web site, its like they just threw it together and put it out without knowing how it works. Just give me back Microsoft Word and let me type and leave me the alone!!!!!!!!!!!! and guess what the work will be flawless like it used to be.

Here's another thing, quit telling me how to search for patients names, how about you quit being sissies and tell the doctors to put in the names and MR #'s correctly as that would take up way less time than it takes me to try to figure out which Mary Smith out of 30 is the correct one. I just dont' understand how they cannot tell the hospital to train the doctors to put in some measly information instead of me taking so much time to try to do it when so many of the docs just give a name and nothing else, they can't even put in the correct work type, come on HOW MUCH time does that take?!?!

Lord Jesus please let me get an interview and a job soon after all these jobs I have applied for so I can not be an MT anymore. Amen!

when they negotiate with a hospital is tell them if they want their work cheap, fast and accurate that they have to agree to a universal format but because they want as much work as they can get they promise them anything and everything and the only ones who suffer for this are the MTs.

It's sad because I still like the work itself but this company has made it impossible to enjoy even the good dictation we get from time to time. What other occupation punishes employees for being only 99.4% accurate.
I'm done with MM.

Amen to that! They will get their 99.6% accuracy - when VR is 99% perfect.

Yeah, that'll happen!!! I am so sick of living in fear of getting canned for not being a perfect little robot. 99.6 is beyond ridiculous!

First of all, these facilities use us as slave labor. Secondly, doctors, PAs, APRNs, etc., are so arrogant that they think they don't have to be attentive to medical records. MR is just an annoynace to them that has to be done. I've been in this business over 40 years and they get worse every year. I figure they get what they give and if they can't be bothered to provide necessary information so we can make sure we have the correct patient and DOS, then let the facility's MR Department do the search. They make a lot more than we do and they aren't on piece work.

I suspected this because I thought "I know I typed that correctly" but this time I saw it happen. I'm doing a standard report and typed metaphyseal awl, but Fluency changed it to metaphyseal scar, it just changed period. How does that happen? Lord have mercy, I really hate this system. ...

Loaded 7.4 on my own computer. Downloaded and put icon on desktop but I am unable to open it. I sometimes will have this problem if I load links from MM through IE. I used Chrome and FireFox but still unable to open... Spoke to techs in India and they said it is because I'm using my own computer and to contact a domestic tech through my TSM. You guys know so much so I thought I would send this out to you :) Anyone?? ...
