According to MModal:
"MT failed to meet the lines per hour production requirement for PPE 7/19/14. MT’s LPH during that pay period was 106. Issuing verbal corrective action."
My reply:
"There seems to be a discrepancy with the LPH, because according to Fluency, I'm usually above the 150/hour. But short of limiting restroom breaks until after work, having a DSL line that is working superiorly and enduring 8 hours of continuous lower back pain without stretching my leg (I'm an amputee) by meeting my performance quota will all that appears to be needed in order to make MModal happy. Hopefully several of the issues above can occur and I'll still have this job in 6 months."
I've worked for UM for 13 years and never got a write up, verbal warning, etc. I was practically a model citizen.
Five months working for MModal feels like I should be joining the cast of 'Orange Is The New Black' shortly with this verbal CA.
I hope UM is so happy they laid us off, because the only good thing that came out of it was them saving a few bucks in their pocket. The doctors aren't happy with the change as the quality of their work diminished, and neither are the MTs like me who made the mistake in thinking accepting MModal's job offer was a good idea when UM gave us our pink slips.
How long did it take some of you to receive your first verbal CA?
