OH MY GOD! The Q is having an essay contest about what is wonderful about FTR. I just picked myself up off the floor because I was and still am laughing hysterically. Nothing surprises me any more at the Q... nothing!!!

It is probably best if I just not enter the contest- they wouldn't want to hear the truth on how this will affect patient care or how I think MQ has sunk to a new level of bad with this FTR thing. Best to just keep my opinions to myself!

They'll probably only post the positive essays written by the brown-nosing cheerleaders. And if they don't get any of those, they'll be writing their own essays extoling the virtues of FTR. But hey, maybe if I write a bad one, they'll fire me, yea. . .

Just wait! There will be a bevy of Q-ettes who will sing the praises. - I can guarantee it!

Try at about 50% and they said it will come out of your paycheck probably before they send the actual gift card. Been there, done that with MT week prizes when we got taxed almost half of our winnings. Hard to pay the bills with a "my gift card is coming in the mail." I wish you the best though, that money will come in handy to someone.

btw - the prize money is added to your paycheck for the week - and that total is what is taxed - found that out when it cost me $100 in taxes to pay for an IPOD I won during one of those MT weeks

I made the mistake of choosing to read it while eating my dinner. Blecch. It just sounds SOOO fake, so sickeningly sweet. Notice how all the words are manipulated to make MQ sound so wonderful. We are not high school students required to do what the teacher tells us. We are adult employees who should not be asked to grovel for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate. There is a drawing for prizes if you upgrade the DocQscribe 6.1 by midnight and I watched all the presentations and have been sending emails for 2 days to my CCM to get instructions on how to upgrade and she won't answer my emails and if I don't upgrade by midnight I won't be entered for the prizes. We need a new contest for download disastors. I win. My computer wouldn't accept the download. Support tried to fix it for a week, then sent a new MQ computer. When it arrived, I was on my way to the door to get it. Our German shepherd got excited and up ended me. I laid there with a nicely fractured hip. Line rates: Why are experienced MTs being paid the same rates as newbies? These MTSOs state that an experienced MT should end up with more money because he/she is able to produce more lines than a newbie.
