Excessive nastiness here on the MM board - See msg

Admittedly, there are some nasty trolls on other boards here on this site, too, but the M*Modal and Politics boards seem to have a really, really high ratio of viciousness.

No surprise on the Politics board, but it is interesting that the M*Modal board comes in for so much more meanness, post for post, than the others.

Since the nastiest folks always seem to be those defending M*Modal and belittling other MTs, it does make me wonder if some of M*Modal's low-level managers like to vent their hostility toward MTs anonymously here.

I don't know if it is because everyone is stressed out with OOW too. We are all people and have feelings and have right to an opinion, but whatever your opinion is we should not be bashing one another. We should agree to disagree. MModal has created most of these situations. If were in an office would we be treating each other badly? Probably not.

Sure we would. But it would be behind each other's backs - not out in the open like this. nm

but I worked in an office for 17 years with about 40-45 other people and at different points more than 75 and never experienced anything negative against one another, because we recognized in most cases management was the problem and we united together. I am not saying that we all wanted to hang out after work and be best buds, but we did accept and "respect" each others differences.

I worked in a clinic with a young female workforce. Office - politics were horrible, the reason I work at home

Nicknames bring out the viciousness in everyone. The victims of the viciousness don't know who the nasty person is. Unfortunately, the uncertainty surrounding our jobs and the future of transcription doesn't help either.

When MQ took over - old and burned out

Actually my office experience was very good until MQ took over. I worked in Denver offices for more than 30 years. Before my first boss sold the company work got very low and employees started getting nasty but other than that, things were pretty good. Then when MQ took over and we often had no work, the physical conditions in the office were exceedingly unpleasant and we were treated like cattle, some, although not all of the employees also started treating each other badly.

five words in then doesn't let up. You are surprised?! Give me a break. You covered all the bases. If I defend MModal, then I am a "nasty, troll," stating that those defending MModal are supervisors letting off steam. Boy, is that reaching. Like they have the time. As many have stated on this board, there have been cuts with supervisors/managers. My guess is, they don't have the time nor inclination to read these much less comment on them. They could care less what we are doing on these boards.

I am not allowed to support MModal because you obviously have hate for them? You are allowed to blow off steam but no one else? Meaness is exactly what your post is about. YOU are the problem. You come in holier than thou and go directly for the jugular. Twist it, turn it anyway you want to, that is what I read/see here. So, here is an idea, think about your role in the nastiness. It is rich with self serving attitude.

One more thing. I like working here, very much.

or acronym o' the month have told us in conference calls that they definitely follow the boards, named MTStars in particular, and also said they knew that corporate followed the boards. Just sayin.
And my opinion is that the NJA has turned this board into a battlefield.

management following the boards has anything to do with the fact that some are out of work and have been for quit some time now? I mean I think if MM wanted to find out who was posting on these boards they could. Why else would management mention to MTs that they follow these boards? And why else would they be following these boards? My guess is thats also the reason MM does not post ads on job seeker's board. Definitly gives you something to think about.

not allowed to support MModal or post about being happy with our jobs simply because of the hate some people have for them? Its okay for them to post and spew nastiness and attack us for posting something simple like "I have a good benefit rate" or "I have no problems with the company and I love my job"...We are jumped for any little positive statement we make about MM, but yet, we are the nasty trolls.

If MM is watching these boards, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if alot of the posters here are suffering from lack of work due to slandering the company. Its possible that some of them have been here so long slandering the company that they have been found out and now are being starved out and forced to move on. Who wants people like that working for them?

Shoot, that would not be hard given some time. They post the initials of the TSM's, they come on here and state it is during their shift, so you can check the time, they name their regions, they point out things they have received in their team emails...once you put all those pieces together over time it could be pretty easy to figure out who is who.

I don't tend to defend M-Modal (not a big fan), however, to say that the so-called "defenders" of MM are the "trolls" and nastiest is one of the most inaccurate statements I have ever heard.

Seriously, when there is so much written evidence of the exact opposite how can you even say that with a straight face.

Okay fine, I'm leaving until this nastiness leaves the boards. My job is stressful enough, I sure don't need this nastiness and strife. I hope you have a good time bullying and berating others, you're so good at it. No wonder you remind us of management, we're used to being treated like crap, when we get it here too, we know where it comes from.

Back in September went to a vascular surgeon who saw me for a few minutes, said had no clue why my legs tired, hurting at night and proceeded to charge my insurance $325.00. It is so very frustrating! I type for a wound care clinic, and, of course, a great deal of the patients there are diabetic, as am I. About a year ago I learned from my diabetic teacher that a local supermarket chain pharmacy offers all diabetic supplies and meds for free, whether you are insured or not. You see it periodically, OB, radiology, and something else but it's pretty clear the work will be OB. The test consists of 3 files (getting this from the ad) and you should finish it in less than 2 hours. 3 files? How long are the files? So, my real question is (the other two were thiinking out loud), does this ad get run periodically to clear out the backlog or is it really a legit job and why does it come up so often? I tried the swap yesterday. I put in to give up my shift on Friday, 4-9 as doing the Relay for Life walk that evening. It appeared to take as I had RECLAIM next to my shift instead of SWAP but when I went in today, it said SWAP again. It looked the same as it did before I put in to swap.
