I think everyone should go to the link below from the SEC (written 8/19/2009) to read the general disagreements from a board member of MQ. This board member resigned because of quesitonable ethics, overall (mis)management and questionable financial dealings with CBay. After reading, rethink a career and future with MQ.

This entire company is nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves.

That is why nothing is done above board by MQ.

I would not recommend MQ to my worst enemy in the world.

They did not even pay MTs for their full line counts -- a bunch of crooks.

CBay booted him just like they yanked away departments, lowered our pays, - made it harder to make any good money . .

CBay will lop off the rest of us when they see fit. They are a bunch of creepy, fat, bloated, bug eyed, stinking, slimy, underhanded, filthy animals.

There will be a huge layoff of us if enough of us have not left by December 2010 -- When CBay's newest MT center in India is estimated to be filled to capacity.

They will give no reason, just as they did not to the board member who darn well probably knows what is going on and does not agree with CBay wringing this company down to NOTHING in AMERICA.

I would tell everyone to find another job, unless you can hang in there until December with the way our pays are going to be shrinking.

I can't stand CBay or any of the people running it. I also can't stand the board members of MQ who were the king pins in ripping off clients and employees.

He did not resign, he was removed from the board. This is one of the minority shareholders. Note he says, "MedQuist is a wonderful company that is performing very well." His complaint is that he is afraid of being bought out by CBay at a bargain price.

The WHOLE BOARD IS CROOKED. CBay and MQ are supposed to be SEPARATE ENTITIES, but are actually are NOT.

THEY ARE ALL IN BED TOGETHER. The current board members are directly linked to MQ or what is left of it.

Yes, MQ is a company that is performing very well -- but not if the current board members have their way along with CBay. They are working to nearly completely eliminate the American side of MQ. CBay wants ALL of MQ and will not be happy until they own 100% and not the 69.5% they own now.

There is a whole lot going on and none of it good.

MQ is hardly a NICE company to their employees.

The MQ/CBay structure does complicate how they integrate the two companies and complicates how they can gain synergies. Schwarz, as a minority holder, was obviously concerned by this and probably voiced his dissent to the point they decided to remove him. I've said this before, but the integration of the two companies has nothing to do with moving work to India. That decision is made by the hospital or clinic that is their client. They are the ones electing to receive potentially lower quality work to get cost savings.

and it shows how our CEO, Mans----, and Anil Kumar used to work together for OfficeTiger, an outsourcing firm. Also MQ CEO is a lawyer and worked a bank and managed their outsourcing department, etc. Yep, MQ CEO and Kumar, BEST BUDS BACK IN 2007-2008 I believe, BEFORE THE BUYOUT OF CBAY AND MQ.

I believe O'Donoghue I worked with back at Dictation West, Secrephone and MRC Group.

Getting out of transcription, had enough working for crooks.

It is so very frustrating! I type for a wound care clinic, and, of course, a great deal of the patients there are diabetic, as am I. About a year ago I learned from my diabetic teacher that a local supermarket chain pharmacy offers all diabetic supplies and meds for free, whether you are insured or not. You see it periodically, OB, radiology, and something else but it's pretty clear the work will be OB. The test consists of 3 files (getting this from the ad) and you should finish it in less than 2 hours. 3 files? How long are the files? So, my real question is (the other two were thiinking out loud), does this ad get run periodically to clear out the backlog or is it really a legit job and why does it come up so often? It's not the exact same ad everytime ...

I tried the swap yesterday. I put in to give up my shift on Friday, 4-9 as doing the Relay for Life walk that evening. It appeared to take as I had RECLAIM next to my shift instead of SWAP but when I went in today, it said SWAP again. It looked the same as it did before I put in to swap. When I looked on the SWAP board there were no shifts up for grabs and yesterday there were 2 on there??? I redid this again but cannot figure out why I had to redo it.
