Does it seem like each new platform is less user friendly? - mom2huskies

Just having one of those days. I just trained on DocQscribe. However, I am used to Cornerstone. Does it take a long time to get used to DocQscribe?

I dont mind docqscribe, however, - I think they skim lines somehow...

I just feel with every upgrade, my line rate goes down. Not sure how that happens.

You will get used to DocQscribe, it doesnt take that long.

It is easy to know if they are skimming. Go to job, on left pull down payroll - version and you can SEE how job is paid. sm

You can assume skimming if you are not willing to do a little work to find out for sure.

Or would you rather "think" you are being robbed as opposed to know if you are or not. Btw, I have checked and MM does not skim. My buy-out company did skim and it was very easy to see it.

Check on some short jobs. Btw, it is possible to read paystubs if you take - it slow and keep at it. sm

I've felt like my lines were being skimmed too - So I double check in MS Office

There is an option in word to count characters, so I copy entire report, paste into word, do character count and divide that by 65. It always turns out within 1 line of what DQM reports, so unless Microsoft is in on the scam with MQ, we aren't being ripped off.

They are ripping us off in other ways though.......

Every upgrade on DQS has made it more of a pain in the butt. Used to like it, now - I hate it. NM

I wish they would give us the option of changing the shortcut keys to our individual liking. I know that would make more productive.

But cant you do that by making macros? - nm

I know Cornerstone has it problems, but I believe in some ways it is more user friendly. I would like to keep the same short-cuts for inserting physician's names. I also liked just pressing the F4 key to go to the CC page. However, I do like the F1 function, which Cornerstone does not have.

I see there are so many new people on since I left. Anyone who has been threatened, I just want to remind you to PLEASE, COPY AND PASTE your emails in another file and SAVE them or PRINT them. I had a phone interview with them, and they don't sound like they're flexible AT ALL. She even told me that they're not. She made it sound like I have to be dying to miss any work. I am hoping someone is familiar with Medisoft program. I just obtained a position as a remote user for an office that uses Medisoft. Today is day one. There are two other remote transcriptionists. Needing a general consensus on whether or not you like the DQS platform...what about it's ASR generated reports. I personally like the platform and think the ASR reports aren't as bad as some platforms I have been on...I just hate the rate of ASR pay. In your experience, which platform would you recommend an IC/MT suggest a physician's office utilize? This would be probably for four docs per office or less and one to four MTs.
