not be so darned condescending..If I forgot something that was in the CP, it is simply because I have a zillion accounts and I just missed it..99.9% of the time I don't...Would just rather have you say, hey you missed so and so in the CP, don't quote the CP and then lecture me..Seriously I do this for a living. I am not perfect but I darn sure try...

If it's in the CP, we have this tab we click on and we are supposed to copy and paste from it. But if it bothers you that much, I won't do it anymore.

Starting to really feel unwelcome. As if you think I'm a "suit" or something. I'm a highly underappreciated MME, senior blank filler inner, underpaid educator. Can't figure out why you dislike us so much.

I think that we are just good targets for anger. Nobody likes to have their work corrected, whether they were truly wrong or right; it makes them feel inadequate, understandably. We are all in the same boat. MMEs are no better than MTs; they just get an extra work type. We get audited on what we type and correct, so we are under a lot of pressure also; the same fear as the MTs. There are as many poor MMEs as poor MTs; the only problem is MMEs are outnumbered on this board. MTs need to keep in mind that they don't see reports that we didn't mark up. We can go through 100s of their reports without finding an error, but when we find one, the pitchforks come out.

The problem is we never get an "attaboy" for the hundreds of reports that we don't make mistakes on, just the few where we missed something. I'm not saying it's the MME's fault; it's not. It's just the way the system is set up. We get no props for the things we get right, but let us make a mistake and it's shoved down our throats. The MMEs are just as underpaid and unappreciated as we all are. Frankly, I wouldn't take your job under any circumstances. I think they're eventually going to have JUST MMEs who can transcribe, edit and correct the overseas work, depending on what they need at any given time. And I'll quit before I become an MME. It's WAY too much stress.

Feedback Jan 26, 2011I'm so happy! I got my audit, passed with flying colors and got an email from sup saying good work and keep it up! He also suggested that I submit for a raise since I've been consistent. I said I didn't know that we could, but apparently we can if we maintain that 98% average consistently for a certain amount of time.
