364 jobs in the entire east region? - old north MT

What the ding dang dong is happening? I get the feeling that they are routing work differently between offshore and onshore. Its just strange that the west feel off the face of the planet and now the east is sinking. Where is the person who always manages to get the inside scoop? I would like an explanation.

Well, most of my accounts are clinics/doc offices, so they're closed - right now.

And it's the very first one they tell, when the work disappears. They've even used that one on us in the west - even though it's warm and sunny right now. We haven't had bad weather all winter, yet the reason why our work has disappeared is the weather.

There are tons and tons of facilities in the eastern region. If your facilities are closed right now, they would route you different work. But they're not doing that, because the work has disappeared.

How can anyone believe there are only 300 patient reports to type in the ENTIRE eastern region? When it snows, don't people still go to the hospital?

I'm just saying don't be so quick to believe that crock of crap - there is work being dictated, but it's not being routed to you. Just like there is work being dictated here in the west - it's just not being routed to us.

recently too and was told that this time of year is always slow. BS on that. Winter is ALWAYS the busier time of year and has been for the last 20 years. It just really tickles me that we are treated like such sheep. I ask questions just to see what crap excuses they have to kill time because I certainly don't have anything to type otherwise. MM seems to be having layoffs, combining regions, reducing their US force, while Nuance seems to be on a big hiring spurt. I'm wondering if I've chosen the right lifeboat in a sinking industry.

have both been having low volume problems at Nuance. I dont think any of the lifeboats can hold all of them trying to hang on.

On your average day, 5000! Now, 70. I get that its a holiday, but I have run out for 3 weeks now. TSM said they over-hired and work went to India.. well, then get rid of the new hires already. It really hurts the line count bad. So far, I have had a lot of documents that require quite a bit of formatting - H&Ps, consults and ER reports from several facilities with each having different requirements and everyone wanting the ROS and PE different.
