16,449 lines for 4-day incentive!!!! - SpherisMTtoo

The usual unreachable goal they give me for these incentives is 8882 lines over a 4-day weekend, and now they want 16,499 lines before they will pay me 5 cents a line above and beyond? I hope that is a typo, or someone is truly insane. Of course, I never go for the incentives anyway since they are always out of reach, but I do take advantage of the ability to work some overtime. I wonder when they will realize that uping the line rate is not going to work to get more work done until they lower the line count necessary to get it.

I don't even get 16k lines in a 2-week period - (and I am full-time)

Or for those who work part-time and have lots of extra hours to work to create more production.

It's a no brainer that high producers who work full-time will hardly ever achieve the lines for special incentives now.

Ppl probably scheduling things who are on spring break? I had a doctor earlier who left his mic open while talking to a co-worker about being swamped, that their census was up 33%. Bring it on is what I say. Make those $$ now while you can, cause you know it will do down later.

I don't blow smoke and never stir the pot, in fact, I don't post very regularly. I've been getting these emails pretty much every week since the beginning of the year. I figured everyone must get them.

I sent a reply to my original email telling them they were completely nuts (not in those words, of course), and just got a corrected email of 8708 lines, which I could easily do in 4 days during the week, but certainly not on a weekend.

Well kudos to you if you can do 8700 in 4 days. - no name

I never could run 2000 lines consistently every day, just on a perfect day. I am happy for you. Not many of us have those kinds of accounts.

How many lines do you average per day - VR and traditional? I know it's been VERY slow lately, but when things are going well, how many lines do you normally get? I'm trying to figure out where the average numbers are. For me, I do about 350 trad and about 1400 VR in 8 hours. The way it looks to me, they give me a target to hit over 4 days, which (I don't need the particulars of how they arrived at it, but I get them anyway) pretty much reflects my daily average. Okay so now I work all day today, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday, making my average each day and THEN, at the end of Monday, if I'm able to get in another 100 lines, I will get 3 cents for those 100 lines??? Below under the incentive topic it was mentioned that the incentive will not be paid until Jan 10th... but on the email at the very end it states "The incentive payout for this program will be paid no later than January 10, 2010." I like how they try to make this seem great. It's probably no better or worse than we were before with the monthly incentives.
