As independent contractors, does anyone have affordable dental insurance?  I need something that will cover just that.  Thanks for any ideas

isn't that expensive- do you need single or family coverage?

There are also a lot of programs that are very cheap to join and you get significantly discounted dental.

Google is your friend.

A decent dental plan, even for an individual, can be expensive. Most of them pay well on cleanings and x-rays but you will pick up a good deal of the cost on restorations yourself if you choose the cheapest premium.

If you are over 50, join AARP and get on their Delta Dental Plan. It's wonderful.
