Opinion on earbud headphones - hb

I need everyone's opinion on their favorite earbut headphones. I currently use a cheap $10 pair of earbuds from Walmart and they work great as most of my doctors I have been typing for a long time and I am familiar with, but whenver I get a new doctor I feel like I just cannot hear them as well as I should be. So, I am wondering what the best earbuds are for an MT. between $50 and $150. I know most MTs use over-the-ear headphones, but they give me headaches too bad and I have problems with one of my ears. Earbuds seem to work great for me. I debated buying a pair of Senheisser earbuds because I have tried out the over-the-ear headphones by Senheisser before and they seems to work great, but please give me your opinion. What do you use?????

I prefer earbuds, too. I've used many different kinds of headsets over the 50 years I've been doing this, and my favorite is one I buy from Executive Communication Systems.

I have been using Bose earbuds since 2005 and love them. They fit well and stay in the ear nicely. The audio is great and helps with difficult to understand dictators. The last ones I bought were around $99, but well work the cost. I love 'em. Hope this helps.

I was never one to move around a lot with my headphones on, so I actually like having a short cord. I use Bose over the ear stereo headphones. Ear buds hurt my ears after a while.

The long cords on traditional MT head sets always bugged me because they get in the way.

Currently I use Brainwavz B2 phones which are fantastic value - I'm on my second pair only because my dog chewed my last pair after I was careless. Before that I had Vsonic and Sennheiser and was happy with both of those.

But instead of using the standard rubber tips, I buy Comply foam tips instead as they provide better fit and sound isolation.

I have tried over the ear.. but cannot hear the same and ears get hot.

But earbuds.. make my ears ITCH.

I've always used just cheap stereo headphones but I want to try some of the ones that are made specifically for transcription. The problem is the kind that fit inside my ears can hurt, the ones that are more rounded buds and have foam on them. What headphones do you recommend that are comfortable inside the ear? Does anyone have or know of where to get wireless headphones. My cat has chewed through the wires of 3 sets of headphones (at $18 each its getting expensive). Another post got me wondering, what type of headphones / ear buds do you use and why? I, personally, switched to (in-ear) ear buds about 5 to 6 years ago. I would like some good input on a "good" set of headphones. I have used Bose QuietComfort in-ear headphones, which work fine, but I am looking for something with better clarity.
